Speedy B 25 vs Alma Bb

I think Alma BBs and speedy b25s are so addicting. Lol. I found my purse peace when I finally added these 2 bags to my collection after taking a long break from purchasing LV

Agreed! I’m deciding between another DE print for the Alma BB or black Epi leather - tough choice.

I have another question for you! Do you enjoy having both of these bags in DE? It’s my favorite LV print so if I got the Alma BB, I’d get it in DE as well. I like the black epi leather Alma bc but I have other black leather bags from YSL that would kinda be repetitive. Do you think it would be too repetitive for me to have speedy b 25 and Alma bb both in DE

I have the Alma BB in black epi leather and I think it is my favorite LV bag. If I had to choose only one LV bag - this would be it.
YSL does not have any bag that comes even close to the Alma BB (in shape and leather) so I don't think that it is repetitive at all .

My first LV was the Alma. Then the NF. I recently acquired a very well kept vintage backpack, and I love that too! All LV are beautiful. Functionality the NF is convenient. The Alma is more like a decorative piece in my life, personally speaking.

As everyone says, Speedy b25 fits MUCH more and I think it’s really easy to see when you look at both bags from the side

That’s true - it’s a very classic style unique to LV and YSL has a different vibe to it. I’m so happy you are enjoying it!

That's a tough one. I have both bags, but I had the Speedy 40 first. However, it depends on what your needs are for everyday use. I use my Speedy 40 during the work week, and my Alma BB on the weekends (because I don't need as much "stuff" on the weekends like I do during the week). Alma BB doesn't hold that much, especially compared to a Speedy of any size, and the Speedy is more practical for daily use, as well as getting in and out of. That's a lot of people's complaints with the Alma BB are the two zippers. A lot of people don't like that aspect of it. Me? I don't mind, I love my Alma BB's (I have two of them - monogram and vernis). So since they're completely different from each other, go with what works on a daily basis, and go from there.
