I’d looked on the Odeon wow such a lovely bag. Both with the black and natural leather. I have a LV delightful and I love it. But I need also one more to work. In the summer I use a Neverfull Damier azur but I think it’s not perfect for the autumn and winter..
don’t you use your speedy b as a classic? Remove the strap?

Hi. No never. I have the speedy 30 v in grenade that I love. Something about the bandoliere sides. Hate. I was hoping I’d get over it since they are both limited editions but noooo
Work totes I use:

I’m thinking about adding an on the go too!

I vote for the Speedy B. I always wanted the Speedy B so I could wear it crossbody. But now that I have it, I don't think I have ever worn it that way - I wear it on my shoulder which I thought I would never do! My daily is the Speedy B30 in DE. What I do is attach the shoulder strap so it fits snug but too snug along the bottom, just a slight drape. I love to hand carry but having the strap in this manner allows me to throw it on my shoulder at any moment instead of fumbling trying to add the strap. I also find I carry it more and more on my shoulder. Plus the strap doesn't really dangle so it doesn't get in the way. The coated DE leather seems pretty hardy so I am not sure how well this would work with the vachettea. I also use an organizer and keep the spare third piece between the outside of the bag and the organizer. It is out of the way, doesn't get ruined and I always have it if I need it. The 30 can be a bit big so I do plan to add at least one 25B to my collection but I don't think you can go wrong with the bag! (I also live in a warm area, FL, so no coats to fuss with but plenty of rain! LOL).

I have a speedy 30B and a regular speedy 35 in different patterns. I wear a puffy winter coat and I am able to get the speedy on my arm. Maybe the handle is somehow larger though on the 35? Probably not by much. I actually like wearing the speedy b more on my shoulder (no extension strap) the most. I do prefer the look of hand carry for the regular speedies, but it hasn’t stopped me from wearing the b handheld either. It is nice to have three ways to wear it, essentially.

Speedy b looks like a gym bag to me, and the leather strips down the sides can get weird and wrinkly...

So, I vote classic speedy, and add a strap when you need it.

I totally agree with this. The classic is more beautiful and elegant. I don’t like the leather on the sides of the bandoulier

I prefer the classic.
I bought a 25 15 years ago, big mistake, I hated the size. Went in a year later to buy the 30 and it was 475 euros (instead of 375). I declined ... Of course I regretted but never bought the bag again. Couldn't justify the price .... Now, I grew out of it .... I love classic speedy on others but not on me ... Plus, the handles are a little to small with a coat (for me).

I purchased a speedy 30 Damier with strap and have never carried it. Mint condition. I am looking to sell 90 less than I purchased in Nashville. I have literally every single thing with it. Receipt etc. Now the bag is selling for 1640 US. I'm will be losing tax and 90 dollars.

I live up in Northern Norrland and I just tried my classic Speedy 30 with my thick winter coat and the handles are definitely not too small :smile:
Om du är riktigt osäker så är det värt ett besök på en butik så du kan jämföra de båda modellerna innan du köper. Då kan du vara säker på att den du köper är den du gillar mest :flowers:

I prefer the classical Speedy as I don’t like how the sides of the speedy B look when worn with the strap, but maybe that look can be improved with a base shaper.

Jag har ett besök inbokat i slutet på oktober i Stockholm... ska bli kul. Har ett mål att jag vill ha de mest klassiska... i min garderob.. Det lutar mest mot en klassisk.
