Speedy 25 Damier or Mono, Strap or no strap?

I would go with the bandouliere version because I don't like handheld bags and usually wear my speedy b25 as a shoulder bag (remove the middle strap). Both mono and DE are so gorgeous so i ended up with both. Folks say the opening is small but i am ok with it and dont really find it to be an issue. I sometimes use an organizer and sometimes i dont.
I love the DE print and would definitely go with the bandouliere. This bag is so versatile, especially to wear crossbody, shoulder bag or handheld. And if it starts to rain, you have no worries. The strap gives you so many options! You can use the bag as a handheld purse, as a shoulder bag, with a "short" strap or a long strap, and as a crossbody! The 25 is a great size because it doesn't sag as much as all other sizes. The 25 as a crossbody will look cuter than any other size worn as a crossbody. That bag fits a lot for its small frame. Your essentials plus some extras, such as makeup, some snacks, a small water bottle, a notebook. If you use a bag organizer, then even better, nothing gets lost. DE is sturdy, you can use your bag in any weather and it will still look amazing. No regrets. Just check if you like mono or DE better! And please reveal, and share your happiness!

please get the strap, then you can wear it without the strap. because sometimes, shopping around, you just don't have enough hands...
I have both- a 25B and a regular 30. I love my 25B so much more as it is more versatile and a great year round bag. I will not get rid of my regular 30, however, because my husband gifted that to me and I have my initials hotstamped on it. I do include it in my rotation and have enjoyed using it the past few months. But between the two, I would definitely choose the 25B. GL deciding.

With the speedy b you have the option to use it with or without a crossbody strap. When you get the original, you don't have a decision. I love how the DE print is carefree no matter the weather and it helps that it matches everything. I rotate my bags now but I used it religiously for months at a time. It stilllll looks brand new 
So, I own a Speedy B30 in mono and a Speedy 25 and 35 in DE. For some reason, I just like the look of the classic Speedy compared to the bandoulière version. The 25 is a great size. Holds a surprising amount of stuff, even with my bag organizer inside! My vote is for a classic Speedy in DE if you don’t mind a handheld or “crook of your arm” type bag.

The bandouliere version gives the bag a more sporty look with the leather strips on the sides of the bag. I feel this makes the bag appear much more casual which is not my personal preference.
I thought about selling my 25B, but I may hold onto it in case my daughter wants it when she grows up.
So, final vote: classic, any canvas print

have many iterations of speedy b 25 and speedy 25 but speedy b 25 mono is by far my favorite and most used. the vachetta strap is softer than the ebene and as long as you can enjoy the patina process and not stress over it, this is a wonderful bag. definitely my first choice. oh, and the bandouliere adds so much versatility it really does improve on the original speedy in my opinion. i resisted at first because i was not used to the strips of leather up the sides, but now i would never go back to the original. jmho. best of luck with your decision : )
I have speedy 25 classic in mono, DE and DA- I love them all. They are classic LVs. They are so much more practical than nano speedy and cheaper and just as cute!
The bandouliere version is more versatile in terms of how you wear it along with giving you the option to be hands free, which I really like! I went with DE over mono because I wouldn't have to worry about babying the vachetta of the Mono but I really love both prints.
I have personally always gravitated towards the classic speedy in mono. While there is an argument to be made for the bandoulière strap, I find that little bit if extra leather on the sides add extra weight. It is nothing for some people, but my sensitive skinny scrawny arms notices those extra ounces. The hand carry is my favorite option anyways and the handles evens the weight distribution making for a comfortable carry. I rarely pull any straps crossbody anyways but that is a personal thing. The speedy for me is too bulky to be worn crossbody and I bump into things ( yes I am that clumsy.) I have damier but not in the speedy so I cannot comment.
