I think it depends on use. The one I have from my speedy 20 already has some wear and snags. I wear it mostly crossbody and sometimes the strap catches on other embellishments on tops. It gets like little snags and small pulls, of course not really noticeable to anyone but me but I know they are there. I don't think they are 'forever' straps. I personally dislike them a lot but I don't have extra $$$ to go buying another strap. I had an Hermes black bag with a fabric strap that wore really bad and had pulls and snags quickly. It revealed white threads every time it snagged.

See I only use this strap with basic clothing like shirts and sweaters with minimal design. If I use an embellished item I either use a leather or gold chain strap from my jungle double zip.

My order has already been confirmed, but I was advised that the purse won't ship until it releases on June 30. The cost (US) was $2030 plus tax.
