It will be dated so fast. And when the trend is gone, you're left with a bag no one wants to buy . LV seems so similar to Gucci to me, with colorful and trendy bags that go out of style so quickly.
I have lost my flavor for LV lately as well. I last bought the Montaigne which I think is a classic. The newer styles aren't my cup of tea and since I don't normally carry leather bags I'm very limited now as to what I can purchase. I thought about OTG MM but that giant monogram.....not sure.

Exactly. If I had an unlimited fund, I wouldn't mind buying these trendy bags but I have other things to pay for so I only buy what's considered classic to me. I always think "Am I going to wear this bag in 5 or 10 years?", if I say no then I won't get it.

I definitely don't want to spend 2k on a bag and then another $500 for a replacement strap. It's just too much and for the amount I pay, I expect the bag to be "ready to use".

Agree 100%. I've also stopped purchasing with the "I can always sell it later" mentality. For me, that cycle takes up a lot of mental energy plus the fact that everyone is low balling or even refusing the bag these days.
