I have both sizes ... it's a huge difference between these two. Since I have the 20 I prefer this size.

Would any of you use a canvas Speedy 20 for a dressier event? Or maybe the better question is what is the dressiest event/activity you would use this speedy 20 (beyond drinks and brunch)?

This is a huge difference. Do you know if the 20 capacity is on par with an Alma bb?

Personally I don't think speedys are for dressy occasions but I'm sure if you add like a small gold chain across the 2 handles on one side it would dress it up a bit

Hi, if I may add to the conversation the Speedy 20 fits more than the Alma BB due to its shape both bags are amazing. Alma is more dressier to me but it’s nice to have them both also if you overstuff the Alma BB the zip starts to look uneven and unable to close properly.

It will be perfect without strap or with a chain strap. I add my chain strap from my double zip. I have used it during the day for events but I would also use it at night that way.

Yes mine shipped Saturday. I got it today, one side of the bottom front toward the corner is totally warped no way to fix it. At first I thought it needed to be stuffed but it is the way it was sewn. I also do not care for the strap. To me it doesn't really match. I have the mono speedy with the black strap and I like that one but the colors on this strap weren't for me. Back it goes.
