I have the PM in two empreinte colors (noir and tourterelle) and love both! I have the speedy 20 and 25B in monogram, and I would say to go with the PM over the speedy.

I have both the black Speedy 20 and the black PM, I love the black Speedy 20 much more than my PM, I find the Speedy to be more cute and dressy, and the PM more casual. The PM holds more than the Speedy.
I also have the PM in pink and would choose that over a Speedy in pink, so guess it also depends on the color

I do have both. I used to love speedy a lot but after I got PM I totally forgot speedy(so sad ). PM is so versatile and very easy to use. I plan to get more PM
I bought the Metis 3 times and returned all 3 times. The bag is too square for my liking and it looks like a briefcase. Also I don't like the look of the flap curling up on the sides after a while. I prefer my speedy 25B to the Metis. I wish the speedy 20 came with a normal leather strap or I would have gotten it when it was released.
I am totally biased, because I love PMa, so I recommend PM
