Hi ladies..... I have just looked through the Ode to Lindy thread and I have fallen in love with the Lindy. I really NEED one. Just looking at the size comparisons..... saying that a 30 is more roomy than a 30 birkin, so would you say the 30 Lindy is in comparable size to the 35 birkin ? Also... is it easy to get into ? Thanks so much !

I am 5'8" and the Lindy 30 is perfect. The 26 is way too small looking on me. I like the 34 too but it feels MUCH bigger. It also depends on the skin you choose. The Lindy can sort of smoosh down if the leather is more pliable. The exotic skins are a bit more structured.

This is true. Since you can wear Bs open top, you can say the structure is different between the two bags, but the bottom is definitely bigger in L30 than B30. My feeling says B35 carries 35% more than B30, like I mentioned before L30 carries 20% more than B30, something like that. Give you a better idea?

I am 5'6" and I prefer the 30 cm. It's just the right size. The 34 looked way too big on me and a bit duffle-bag-ish, but I think with a 26 I'd be filling it too much to truly show off the shape to best advantage. IMO, while there's a ton of capacity in a Lindy, since it's basically a big rectangle, almost like a shoebox, I prefer it at least half empty so that it does its slouchy fortune-cookie thing. Just something to think about. I have seen some adorable 26es, especially in croc, but I think 30 is so usable. Before baby #2, it was perfect for outings with a toddler, because I could throw in a snack and clothes change without a fuss. And you will wonder how you ever lived without the outside pockets!

L30 is not as heavy as B30, don't know why. I don't think its the leather, my B is togo and L is clemence. It might be the shoulder carry that makes me feel L30 not too heavy.
