Hi All, how many sizes are there for Lindy? I ordered one in Paris recently (don't know difference between special / podium order) and if i am not mistaken it size 26cm. I browse through the forum and usually see size 30cm. What are the different sizes available and which is most practical?

26, 30, 34.

Depends on your height. 26 could be too small, practical would be 30 or 34. The 34 could be bulky unless you have a taller frame.

Thx for the info. I am quite short so the SA suggested I get the 26cm. Looked through the forum and realized 30cm is often mentioned. I reckon that is the most popular size.

Yes, only because 30cm is like the "medium" size where you want to play it safe. I am 5'6 medium built, I can go for 26cm next time. I don't carry much around and 30cm is too roomy for me.

i'm short too. i had a 30 and replaced it with a 26 after i saw a lady with hers. it looked great and perfectly proportioned. really the 26 is perfect unless you carry the kitchen sink. i usually have a long wallet, 2 zip zaps, iphone, keys, and gloves with me.

26 is more than sufficient. 30 is the best investment if you plan to use her as a workhorse bag. 34 is great for traveling and stuffing in a clutch.

I don't put lots of stuff in my bag so i am hoping the 26 will suffice. Can't wait to get my hands on the bag. SA said it might take 6 to 12 months.

Absolutely same here, in my daily life I just carry a flat wallet, coin purse, cel phone attached to cord earphone, tiny pouch with absolute necessities like chapstick + kleenex + dental floss. thats it with me and 30cm is just tooooo roomy. I also didn't know that 30cm was that big until I used it, I think it hold 20% more than Birkin 30cm. Lindy has larger width than Birkin.

I am vertically challenged, around 5'3" or 1.6m and the Lindy 26 is the perfect size for me. I am sure it will be perfect if you are under 5'7! I carry my bearn wallet, calvi card holder, cell, kindle, keys and small makeup pouch with room to spare. I even stuff a scarf/shawl in there during the winter months. Can't wait for your SO to arrive! Please post pictures:yahoo:

agree the 30 Lindy is roomier than a 30B. It's my workhorse and I throw a kitchen sink in it - long bulky wallet, Karo PM, Umbrella, full cosmetics case + Gym clothes. Enough to hit a guy unconcious. Go figure.

Else the 26 might just do if you don't carry much.

Thx Iffah for the reassurance. I love reading your post and comments. You have such vast knowledge on Hermes and I have so much to learn from you.

Thx HonHon. You carry slightly more stuff than me, I guess 26 should be good for me. I feel much assured now.
