Michael Kors Speaking of new threads..

I was just thinking having color threads with pictures only and no chat would make it easier to find colors....as opposed to going through all the other threads just to find a color. Just my $.02.

It is a good idea, but each STYLE, only comes in certain colors. How would we segregate in a colors only thread, which colors come in what style?? KWIM? That is why I am thinking the same as Baglady, to put the colors available for each style it the Style threads? Because some styles don't have the same colors available. It could get confusing. UNLESS, someone took the time, to list each style in every color, one at a time, in that colors thread. Who has this information? And often it depends what year it is, what colors are available. Some years, some colors are discontinued. I don't know. Just thinking it would be easier to post the colors under the styles threads.

For instance, someone just started the 'Ava' thread. We could post all the colors available for the Ava. The Hamilton probably has different colors available, so we should have THOSE colors in the Hamilton section, and so on. JMHO

I hear what you're saying. I was just thinking it would be nice to go to one thread to look at blue bags instead of each style and sort through them, especially if I'm looking at multiple styles. Just a suggestion though...no worries if it doesn't happen. :smile1:

Other designers have sub-forums here, like clubhouses and things. I was wondering why MK didn't have one of those. It would be very helpful! Balenciaga has a "PINK" clubhouse and "BLUE" etc and it has colors and shades and pictures of everyone's bags/diff styles with the year and name of the color.

Would it be possible to have a sub-forum that includes these sort of clubhouses where we could include the color comparison and style comparison threads? Not like a sticky like the authentication and modeling threads but a sub-forum. I think Rebecca Minkoff also has a subforum for these types of threads and MK is definitely more popular here on TPF!

Now THAT would work!! Kind of like our PINK bags thread we already have. Why don't you start a blue bags thread, a luggage color thread, and so on! Sounds great!

I noticed the same thing with those subforums. I don't see why we could not have one. We just have to contact the administrators and someone has to do the work, to set it up.

I think having both style and colour threads would be nice. When I was looking for blush bags I went to the pink thread and looked around because I didn't know which style I wanted (or were available).

The only problem may come from more ambiguous colours like Blossom, for instance. I know people who describe it as light pink and some who describe it as light purple. However, I do think this would be rare and could be worked around.

Hi all! Yes, we'd love to help you build out your subforum a bit more. I am going to work with Vlad and Swanky to figure out what to add and we will do so soon! I'll be in touch in here to get thoughts/ideas to make this happen!

We could do a photo library where each style has its own thread plus color threads

We already have some threads for specific colors so maybe just other colors need their own threads?

Thank you! You are so helpful! It would be so great to have the sub forum, with photos only and no comments. Thanks so much for offering us this option!

Another problem is capturing the true color with your camera. Doesn't always happen. One poster already had this issue.

Good point! Maybe the poster could explain this in a caption? I do still think it could be good for people who want a particular colour but aren't aware/sure of the styles.
