In some of the other forums they have threads dedicated to specific colors only...such as Reds, Blues, Greens, Black, etc...thoughts? I was just thinking that might be helpful too since we're on a color roll now. :smile1: It would be nice to separate them in a different section so they don't get lost in the shuffle - not sure how to do that. Some forums have a separate page for them. Just thinking out loud....

Over in the coach forum there is a separate "Coach Clubhouse" section. It has subsections for different style bags and there are also color clubhouses to compare colors. Maybe we could have that for this subforum.

I agree with the idea of having separate threads for each color. But wouldn't that be a lot of threads? I have no idea how it would be done, either.
I know in Rebecca Minkoff and Coach they have "Sub-Forums" which are listed about the threads and they take you to a separate page so that they don't fill up the main page. I have no idea how to do that. Maybe the moderator does that???

Its much easier to stick to specific styles but it would be nice if it could be done without making a mess of the MK forum. Maybe someone will have an idea on how to do it. What if we do all brown and black, that would include taupe, khaki, dune etc...then reds, pinks and oranges- that includes blossom etc.. then yellows, blues and purples- that would include the baby blues etc..?? Does that make sense? You could cover a wide spectrum of colors that way without 50 threads everywhere.

Oh I totally agree! Definitely broad color categories - Brown would include all the taupes, khakis, luggage, dune, etc...We don't need specific shade categories, just the broad color. It would make searching for colors easier on this forum - esp since lots of people are always asking about different colors (myself included).

Perhaps we could message Megs and say you would like two major reference threads for style and color reference with the ability to post sub threads for specific colors and styles

Rebecca Minkoff is set up like this...

It might be a good idea to have specific threads with no chat like the model thread we have here. Its super nice to go to the thread when you are looking for photos and not have to weed through pages and pages of comments in-between pictures :)

I personally like all the chat and to read others opinions, but having a separate thread for that would be ideal to me.

The color ones might be good for that too. Good idea.

Don't we already have every color under the sun, in each style section? We have separate sections for Selams, Hamiltons, Rileys, Cindy, etc. When I want to look up colors I just go to that section and see mostly all of them. So I agree with you that sticking with specific styles has worked well for this so far, why not continue as we have been.

Otherwise , if you want to do this, all you have to do is contact the moderators, Swanky Mama of Three, etc.

I was just thinking having color threads with pictures only and no chat would make it easier to find colors....as opposed to going through all the other threads just to find a color. Just my $.02.
