Spacer between your Engagement ring and Wedding Band

So I picked up the 18k why gold spacer today. It is 3mm comfort fit. What do you think? Keep or return. I definitely need one. I tried on the 2mm and thought it was to thin. I have to get used to it but I like how you can see my eternity band now. It was hidden under the halo before( and getting crushed). It was $380 price matched from blue Nile. Do you think I over payed for it?
TIA for your opinions.

I have no idea about the price, but I think it looks too wide with all 3 rings, both in terms of your finger space and also the combo of them. JMHO.

I know what you mean about not being able to see the w- band, I had the same issue ( so started wearing e-ring alone on my right hand), but I feel like its just not the right combo.

After looking again, I think it looked strange to me because your band was on top of the e-ring. They are both so pretty, maybe this is the only option to see both.

Thanks for the feedback. When I tried the 2mm the w band was still hitting the bottom of the halo and didn't separate the 2 enough to prevent damage to either ring so I didn't bother trying on the 1mm as it would have been too thin to do the job and completely disappear under the halo. I like how you can now see the eternity band now. it was hard to see it before and the sapphires in the band were completely covered by the halo. With the 3mm there is just a hair separating the ering from the eternity band. *sigh* I think this is my only choice. I have 30 days to return so ill wear it and see how I like it.
I appreciate the feedback! Thanks!

Wow looking at some of these gorgeous wedding sets makes me wonder if I need a spacer too? I have a gap but I actually don't mind it but is that bad for me ering?

I don't think a gap is a bad thing. I think that is just a style preference. I don't know if a spacer would rid you of the gap or make it more noticeable. I needed the spacer bc the stones in my w band were gnashing the top of the halo on my ering. Over time, both would have become damaged.
It doesn't hurt to pop into a Jeweler and try them on.. There are so many options: 1mm, 2mm, mine is a 3mm .

I think it's too wide too. Have you thought of getting them soldered? Ive had mine soldered for about 5 years. It wasn't an easy decision, but something had to be gone quickly! I've thought of unsoldering them several times, but i kinda like having one thick ring.

E-weddingbands.com make a 1.5mm band stock. I'd probably pick mine up there. For some reason I feel a need to buy just in case wedding bands & they've always been great lol! I've bought a WG flat band, comfort fit, & 3 twisty rings in YG,, WG, & RG.

Oh, I would never solder them together. I've been wearing the 3mm for some time now and am happy with it. I like the options it gives me.. I find I wear the spacer as my band w ering and my eternity band on my other hand. I actually like the finger coverage all three provide when worn together. I can't go thinner then the 3 bc the diamonds in the bands still hit each other.
Thank you all for your input and recommendations..

I'm glad you kept it--I love the look! I like a thicker stack like that.
