I love my two HACs, especially my Togo leather one because of the suppleness of the leather (which gives the bag a softness, compared to my Evercolor and Feutre one which is very rigid and structured). My only problem with the HAC is that it is too big. It looks like a travel bag and I only keep a few things in it like my wallet, keys, and AirPods, so the bag is mostly empty. It takes up an entire seat at a restaurant and when that's not an option at a small table, I have to sit at the edge of my chair with the HAC sitting behind me. The advantage is that if I go shopping with it, then I can put my purchases in the bag. But the Togo version is already quite heavy when empty. The Feutre version is much lighter. I carried a Burberry trenchcoat in it once and it wasn't that heavy even with the coat in it.Considering a HAC 40. Would love to see photos and/or share experiences and opinions popular and unpopular, particularly regarding air travel with one!
I would not travel by air with mine. I witnessed a pair of shoes get scratched through the security conveyor belt, and I would be livid if it scratched any of my nice bags. If I take a road trip, then maybe I'll take a HAC, but never for plane rides.
