I absolutely did not mean to come off cold towards you, so I apologize for that. The pming comment was geered more towards past people who have pmed me, just like kallison said- to ask about my discount, if I could CP with my discount etc.
Also, the correct comment wasn't meant to come off rude - again i'm sorry if it did. I was just saying that if false things come up, I don't want them to start "rumors" y'know?
The use of uppercase letters were to emphasize the fact that they we not true, again the written word is harder to perceive. Sometimes you have to emphasize in capitols to get your point across. I'm not trying to be rude, nor come off that way- but sometimes you have to make points due to past experiences of pms and such.
And I do thank you for stoppping the rumor and correcting it. It's hard to tell what kind of tone someone was using. I admit, at first I was hurt by the post left, but then I re-read my post and saw where someone would be irked about spreading that kind of info about discounts and such. Working at a bank, I should know better! lol.
I like to use "*" to emphasize a point, lol.
So lets put this all past us, learn from it, and keep smiling (and buying tons of Coach
)

You also have to consider that the PMing remark was not directed at you personally. Other people who lurk on the board and might not have even responded to this thread can PM and ask about discounts. If I were Sprinkles, I'd probably have said the same thing.
I joked to my bf about working for COACH during the summer, he said that all my paychecks would definitely go towards purses. Which is the complete truth. But I'm actually considering it. I'm good at persuading people. Hehe. But he said that it maight be weird working side by side with my favorite SA.
But with a smiley, right..... right??
Honestly, can someone please lock the thread and just delete it or something? While I do like the intellegent conversation going on in here, I re-read my first post and a wave of :shame: just goes through me.

KawaiiMira - Welcome to tPF!!Don't get the wrong idea, I appreciate you thinking of us, just take into consideration that employees at most places are not allowed to talk about compensation and benefits as per their agreement with HR... So I think that is where we're coming from, its just a career safeguard thing...

Thanks for the welcome Bags4Bubbles! My collection is quite little at the moment... I just bought another wallet to add to it and I think my finacee would kill me if I byu another bag... although it is quite tempting since I have the funds to do it right now. He wants to save for the future and I just want to spend, lol. I am doing the right thing though by saving... right?
Anywho, my collection consists of A Black Soho Leather Hobo Bag (Outlet), One Baby Blue Accordian wallet (Outlet and On SALE! Woot!), One Black Signature Accordian wallet (eBay), A signature coin purse (My sister surprised me with this one!), and coming in the mail is a Soho French Wallet (eBay). I have been eyeing a Hamptons Signature Hobo and a Legacy Bag recently.... Oh if I had no self control I would drive to the outlet today and buy 'em! 15 minutes away from my house...... LOL.
*sigh* somehow i wish that rumor was true! as of now we don't get any discounts on dept store goods because they buy it from us wholesale...so yeah, we're not related in any way and you can't return something from dept stores to coach (generally, but if you peel off the macy's or nordy's sticker...)
i think for dept stores they don't even get up to 50%, for macy's it's 20% and i thought nordys was 40% for everything but only for their "private labels" and anything else is the same as macys...20%
it is against company policy to tell the discounts but then again, some may not know technically there's a lot of things against company policy that we discuss here but the real seriousness is when you talk about how much the stores are raking in, what are goals are and if they're met, etc. because of stock trading...how the company is doing, and it's numbers...
which, we SAs won't talk about here of course

I am in the Napa Valley. They opened a Coach Outlet in the Napa Premium outlets about a couple of months ago... december, I think. I was so excited when I heard that becuase I was driving all the way to Emveryville to get my Coach fix.
Something funny my manager said the other day: Her business carryall (that she had been using forever) strap broke. She was like, "Man, now I have to go to the outlet and buy a new one. Hm. I think I will do that tonight." I wanted so bad to say *Take me with you and buy me something! Please???*

I know better though.... she already gave all of us Macy's gift cards for Christmas with a surprising amount attacted to them. As soon as I have some time, I am going to Macys and see what they have there. I want to add a wristlet to my Coach Bag. and it's money I was given for a gift so my finacee can't complain... hee hee...
Oh, and my finacee isn't a bad guy AT ALL. He's sucha sweetheart to me... he is just in a savings kick right now (we are planning to move within the next year to a different apt.)
