I love ovals but when I was looking, it was hard to find one 4 ct that doesn't have a 'bow tie" through the middle. Maybe they have improved the way they cut them since the 90's?

Gosh, I hope you get your band soon!

OMG Seriously me too! SKphoto can commisserate with me. lol

This one to me in person did not show much bowtie if any. I didn't see it and I looked. This seriously in person was the single nicest Oval I've seen in probably ever.

If I had to choose out of these 2, I would choose radiant, prefer 1 large centre diamond with smaller side stones instead of the oval+2 midsize stones. GL. Can't wait to see which one you fancy more.

Yknow for me, if I had to pick between these two rings, Id see if I could reset either center stone. But if it was down to any 4ct, Id get the 4ct version of what I have now ;)

Ooo, what a nice distraction. I actually like the oval more (never thought I would say that because one of my favorite combo is a radiant + trills.) I don't think I like the proportions on the radiant stone, but I wouldn't be complaining if I got either :p

they're both beautiful rings, but I agree...the oval with pears is more beautiful. I guess it's the harmony of the cuts. I have to be honest though, I don't like trilliant cut stones anyway. I might prefer the radiant if the side stones were baguettes.
