has to choose between these two rings...

4ct oval with pear sides and a 4ct radiant (I think that was the weight) with trills. Personally I think the Trills take so much away from what really is a fabulous radiant in person. The Oval ring is FANTASTIC. He said that everyone with one exception has said the Oval is their pick also. Im pissed the Oval is out of focus. These were what he showed me to distract me from the fact that I STILL DO NOT HAZ FLYER BAND. :banghead:

For reference that's my hand and I wear a 6 at the base and a 7 at the knuckle on that hand.

Are you the lucky lady? They are both stunning! But i personally would choose the radiant. I think it is just amazing! I wish the oval was more in focus, i'm not sure but that blur could have swayed me in the other direction, but i wouldn't know unless i saw a clear photo.

lol the Oval actually is amazing and that's saying something since I personally am not an Oval person. I thought the Radiant on it's own would be remarkable.

I love the oval! I am not a fan of the trills with the radiant.

I generally dislike Ovals but this one was amazing. That photo sucks.

I love ovals but when I was looking, it was hard to find one 4 ct that doesn't have a 'bow tie" through the middle. Maybe they have improved the way they cut them since the 90's?

I do agree with this. I like the oval better, but the pears to look a smidge off. Maybe it would look better with trillions?
