So I'm trying to be good.......

Hmm...I think all of you ladies are right for the many various reasons you posted. :) (One of the reasons I love tpf....and I think you all rock.)

So I got to the store yesterday after work and checked all of the above again. And then I walked around the store and thought about it after trying each one on, posing in mirrors, blah blah blah.

Here's the thing(s):

1) I adore the Madison Pinnacle Chain Crossbody in White/Ivory Python (with gold glitter) as well, and still do. It's gorgeous...pale lemon satin lining, beautiful gold hw chain...wow. But I just recently bought a white ostrich-embossed small Georgie with pink trim, which I adore, and I'm in there thinking..."Another white bag??? Hmm." (Plus, I do have this bag in black with glittery python scales, so there's that to think about, too....got my glitter fix there...)

2) I agree with you on the black clutch with the white band. When I first saw it, it struck me because I love pebbly leather and I thought it was minimalistic and cool and edgy. Comparitively speaking with the other bags, y'all are right: while I still like it, it's not as exciting. Period.

3) The Madison Pinnacle Clutch in Exotic Stripe Leather (orange with python) is gorgeous. I love it and still want it. But it's freaking expensive, even w/the discount. Hmm. The "no chain" thing didn't bother me, although that's always a plus, but I was thinking of the outfits I'd wear it with and couldn't come up with many. Still, it's gorgeous and I still want it.

4) Bleecker Sullivan Hobo/Pebbled Leather in Mandarin Orange: I want this bag. I still want this bag. I NEED MANDARIN ORANGE IN MY LIFE and I will have it, some way, some how. It fits comfortable on the shoulder, and the crossbody strap is a huge plus...(the shoulder strap doesn't really fall down completely when I use the longer crossbody, btw, but that didn't bother me). Pebbly orange insane gorgeous madness. (My husband hates the color, but who cares??!!!)

Then I stumbled around in confusion for awhile longer, and then I discovered a new piece and ended up walking out with that -- something completely different. Some of you ladies might not like it....which is cool, and I understand. It's not really for everyone. But I love it. Stay tuned.....and check out my reveal, which I'm about to do now. :)

And I'm sorry if I caused frustration after all your thoughtful responses and then I walked out with something else. If I can scrape funds together, I WILL own something in mandarin -- I WILL -- and as always, I appreciate your thoughts so much. Y'all are thoughtful, sensible, fashionable ladies. :)

Hi, CoachCruiser! I am dying to see your reveal and am curious about what you decided! Personally, I would have chosen the Exotic Pinnacle Clutch or Hobo from the selection you provided. The clutch is so uniquely different, but the fact that it's not hands free is a bit of a drawback, for me anyway. In any case, I hope you love whatever you chose instead, and I look forward to seeing it. :smile1:
