I talked to my SA today and she also said that production has slowed, and that it is going to become very difficult to get one, she also said, however, that the bag is too iconic for them to ever completely get rid of it. Hmmmm......
So I heard that the Papillon 30 is being discontinued and production has slowed down.

Where DO they put it? I haven't been able to find it.
EDIT: Never mind, I finally found it. Holy smokes did they do a good job of hiding it.
I was in the Holt store 2 weeks ago and my SA mentioned that she thought it was being phased out soonish. She hasn't seen the smaller sizes in ages but had both a mono and damier 30. She had good things to say about them and sounded sad if they were not going to stick around. It's great that it still has the leather lining. If I had checked it out earlier I may have shopped for a pre-loved pap rather than a speedy 25. One day the watercolor pap will be mine - hopefully sooner rather than later!
May i ask what good things she had to say about it? Im trying to decide between tivoli and pappy and i dont know whether or not i should go for classic/iconic (+leather lining is a win for me) or if i should go for tivoli which i think is super elegant. The phasing out rumour is also motivating me to get the pap instead of tivoli
She didn't mention specific dates, just that it seemed like it was getting phased out since they hadn't had the smaller sizes in. They are probably slowing down production; I suppose it's a classic but not as popular as other designs. We talked a bit about the pap but not tons since she knows I'm aiming for an electric alma later this year and generally tend to buy smaller items, rather than bags.
She's older and she has LV as does her daughter. She tends to like similar bags to my sister - epi, some of the older lines, etc. She said either she or her daughter had a pap. She thought the 30 was a good size but that the others could be quite small, depending on what you're carrying it for.
I don't mind pre-loved so if I was getting a pap I'd be looking for a pre-loved one. The 30 pap comes with the baby pap (or whatever they call it) and with the leather lining it's pretty good value for money imo.
