I saw it all in person yesterday and it was just meh....reminds me of the jewelry they sell at Macys. Disappointed.
I saw it too yesterday. It’s not for me either. A bit disappointed as I love the Frivole BTF ring but it’s too big for me and I was hoping Tiffany would have a similar flower line (not to mention VCA using white gold and not platinum really bugs me). Bummer.
I previewed this collection some time ago and was not a fan as I am really into YG as of late. But I gave it a second look and really fell in love with some of the pieces. They are just beautiful. I did immediately see a VCA inspired design but have concluded that it is very different when I went and tried on some VCA pieces the same day. I have a pair of earrings on my wish list now.
Oh... which ones? I am really trying to love this collection as I like Tiffany more than VCA. Maybe I missed something at the boutique. Which ones do you like?
I think I missed those. They do look very pretty. I will have to go again and look more next time. It was so busy this weekend with Mother’s Day. Thanks for the inspiration!
These earrings have actually pushed the VCA Mini Frivole earrings out of my mind, as the Paper Flowers have better ear coverage and are more eye catching with the contrast of pavé diamonds and high polished platinum. I was actually shocked by how much I loved them. I wanted to love the Frivole earrings, but they did not make my heart skip a beat like the Paper Flowers did. I also liked that they laid closer to the ear, so I could probably get away with sleeping with them. Hope this helps!
Yes! I am so glad you told me this as I love Frivole, but every time I try on a piece thinking I want to get it, I am disappointed. The earrings were just ok as you said and they did not sit good on my ear. Then I was going to get the BTF ring and it was just so big on me and did not look elegant at all. Then I tried the single flower Frivole ring and it did not have enough character.

Really hope they bring some of these lovely pieces out in yellow gold. I like the motifs.
I am glad I’m not the only one that is not riveted by Frivole. I find VCA is not exciting me as of late and am looking to other brands to find something more interesting. I look forward to your thoughts when you see Paper Flowers again with fresh eyes.
This is what’s stopping me from purchasing the earrings. I may regret it if they come out in YG later. The SA said it is not likely, but I have heard that before with Victoria. Now there are some Victoria pieces produced in YG.
Did you happen to notice the type of backing? I had a pair of Tiffany earrings reset recently and I switched to the La Poussette locking back style, which they offered at a slightly higher price than threaded backs. The locking backs feel secure but are a little fiddly for me to put on - most people seem to prefer that type of back, though.
You and I will both be in trouble if these come out in YG! I do think Tiffany would have a great market for more designs in YG.
If I remember correctly, they did have La Pousette backs. And yes I wish more diamond designs would come in yellow gold. I would be all over that!
Hi! I am curious if you prefer the La Poussette now over the threaded backs. I have threaded backs which I do not find hard to put on at all. I was thinking of converting them to La Poussette as many people seem to rave about how quickly they can put them on. However, for me, I worry about how tiny they are to have to squeeze and hold which to me would be harder than my screw backs which only take a few more seconds to put in, but it is very easy to just keep turning and screw it in.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
