SNAD for wrong dimensions?

It is definitely a SNAD!! Her measurements were off by a few inches in every directions and eBay should recognize that as being significant. If you ordered a pair of shoes and they were a size smaller or larger than the listing it would be a SNAD, same with a pair of jeans or a shirt.

I'd hope the seller would be willing to simply refund the purse, and allow you to ship it back.

The seller wrote back, apologized, and asked me to return the HUGE tote for a refund of my payment.
No mention of a restocking fee.
So far so good.
If I return the bag and she comes back with a restocking fee, can I then open a dispute at that point?

ITA!

it's happened to me before and to get a bag that is much smaller - or larger - than what you are expecting is nothing to overlook!

I just wanted to say that my bag made it back to HK safely and I got a full refund with no problem.

Since there I so many horror stories on this forum, I thought I would report a happy ending.

Yay, OP!!! :yahoo: I recently had something like that happen to me as well - I sold a bag on the Bonz and gave the wrong dimensions (I made a very dumb mistake in my listing) and when the poor buyer called it to my attention I felt horrible, and refunded her for the price of the bag and shipping both ways once I had it back in my hands. That is the least that a buyer can do with that kind of error, IMO.

Sounds like the seller doesn't own a tape measurer and copy and pasted someone elses listing measurements. Not a first and will not be a last. Personally if I got a bigger Chanel then I ordered I'd be dancing all over the place but I know some like it smaller. Try to work it out with the seller. Maybe they did measure it but measured wrong, i see a lot of people that measure height from top of handle to base of bag too often and not the bag itself without the handles.
