Thanks! And I can still put Robbie the Robot back on the key ring if I wish, no harm done, but right now I am enjoying wearing him as a cute pendant!

I haven't damaged either the fob or the PLT Sandy Beach pendant and I am thrilled to have this adorable new piece of Coach jewelry for only $68! Isn't he cute!?

Robie makes a heavy necklace but I have been wearing him the entire time I've been typing this and the weight hasn't bothered me, but he might be most comfortable worn with a collar and you will need a large chain to support his size and weight if you want to wear him as a pendant.

This is genius! I recently bought this fob too... now I want to be more creative with the way he's worn.

I was lucky to already have a Coach pendant with a long, sturdy, gold-colored ball chain necklace so it was easy.

But if you don't have a suitable chain it shouldn't be hard to get one, I would think that a hobby store or jewelry-making store (or a hardware store!) would have what you need and ball chain looks great with the Robot figure IMO.

My chain is about 26 inches long with a 13 inch drop and that is a good length for me. Robbie is a large item so you don't want a short chain, but if it is too long he will be hanging by your stomach when you sit down.

You just need to be sure that the fastener will fit through the loop at the top of his head; but he is connected to the key ring by a large loop so that shouldn't be a problem, good luck!

I have looked at "Robbie" the Robot at FP Coach and considered him too... I was also "eye'ing up the Metal Feather Key Fob... should have gotten it when I had PCE...
Cute dog too..

Lucky you ... to be able to use your coupon over and over!!! I was told "One Time Use" at my one outlet!!

Thanks! That's crazy about the coupon, both the Men's and Women's Outlet Stores near me encouraged me to "use it over and over until the expiration date!" Those clever fiends!


I also like the feather fob and I was thinking the same thing, I should have used PCE to get them, but I had a $50 Amex gift card burning a hole in my (Coach) wallet so I just went ahead and bought the robot and I am happy that I got it.

I think so, the terrier is smaller and lighter than the robot and it has a large loop and should slip right off the split ring. Joann Fabrics offers an 18 in black ball chain that would probably work well. Sounds like a cute idea!

I loved this idea so much that I just bought the robot and converted it to a necklace too. I bought a ceiling fan chain at Lowes and cut it down to about 24 inches.
