I don’t think this is true as there is the classic WG JUC.
The classic juc isn’t flexible though, but rather hinged. I think that’s what loverose was referring to. White gold doesn’t allow itself to be flexible.

Yes exactly. The small JUC needs to be flexible in a way the regular JUC does not due to the way it is put on. This has been noted many times in this thread and elsewhere.

Oh, I see - you are referring to the mechanism. However, from what I have read, white gold is just as malleable as other golds; however, dependent on what alloy they use in it, it may be less malleable I suppose. I'm not really familiar with white gold as it is my least favorite gold.

Depends on what kind of “damage” you are okay with. I agree with your SA. I had the nail head against my love and it caused dings to form on the edges of the love right away. I turned it around and the nail does overlap occasionally but I would rather have that than the dings. Now, I actually just wear the JUC on my other arm.
I am in the same boat, don’t know which way to wear it to minimize scratching!

white gold isn’t as malleable as other golds because of the mix that makes it white. Also for some reason Cartier won’t make the white gold JUC without the rhodium coating, which makes it much harder. I looked into this a while back because I came across a white gold small JUC on a resale website and had never seen it in store. I don’t wear yellow gold out of personal preference so I was hoping it was limited edition but alas no!

I agree that the white gold itself is probably malleable. I believe the rhodium coating is the problem for a white gold small JUC because rhodium is very brittle and inflexible.

I’m planning on getting a small JUC with diamonds and I think I’m going to wear it the way you have it in the first picture. Since it’s significantly lighter than the regular JUC, I assume it won’t scratch as much.
I was wearing it like this at first but then noticed slight scratching. I think no matter which way you wear it, it’s going to scratch.

I’m going to try it and see what happens. At first I was wearing it like the photo below and it was scratching. But I just think now no matter which way it’s worn with the Love, it’s going to scratch.

Yes, it will. I have a regular JUC that I wore with my love for awhile so I’m used to the scratching. I’m okay with the point of the nail overlapping, but I did not like the marks the nail head put on the love.

Just bought this in size 14 recently. I’ve always admired the JUC original but they only had size 15 which was too big on my wrist. This looks really dainty and perfect for me ❤

May I ask what your wrist size is?
I wear the love bracelet in size 15 (13.5 cm wrist) and would love to add a regular JuC. I've been seriously considering a custom size 14 for the regular one.
