Small JUC or Love worn alone - not stacked?

Small Love alone looks very elegant. If you want to occasionally stack it with a tennis bracelet, it will look beautiful and elegant as well. Small JUC without diamonds around nail head seems a bit plain alone. That is why I got the diamond one - substantial to wear alone but I have very small wrists. Regular love looked obnoxious on me. While I love small Love, I reach out for small JUC more out of convenience as it is easier to put it on.

I feel swayed towards the small JUC for this reason, the convenience of putting it on! Plus the small JUC with diamonds is quite affordable. The regular JUC is more expensive than I want to spend and JUC with diamonds exorbitant.

I own a small love with 6 diamonds, small JUC with no diamonds, and 3 ct tennis bracelet. The bracelet I wear daily (frequently on its own) is the small JUC. It's SO easy to put on and take off which is really important to me as the mom of a toddler who wants to feel a little more put together but not over the top. I stack with the tennis bracelet about half the time.

The small love is beautiful but a piece I only take out for special occasions because (1) it's something I plan on handing down and (2) while it doesn't have the full love bracelet's locking mechanism and can be easily put on/taken off without a second person, it still needs the screwdriver. If you don't plan on keeping it on 24/7, I don't know how the closure mechanism would wear over time.

I have the small JUC with diamonds. I purchased it fully intending to stack it but found I was too fidgety, always trying to keep them from banging. So I moved the Bvlgari to my other wrist and wear it on my other wrist. I am petite so I feel like they are both okay alone.

Between the two, i'll choose the JUC. Even though the small love you can remove it easily (as opposed to full love), it's still not as easy as a sm JUC. I now just dislike needing a tool to undo a jewelry. Technically you can use your finger nail but i totally dont encourage. Emergency then yes.

The Bvlgari serpenti is a strong contender in my opinion. You now can see where i am gearing towards (easy on/off!).

Moreover, i find the sm love way too thin being alone, even though i have a 14cm wrist. Sm Juc has better visual interest.

But yes, all these are not valid till you try them on at store. We may feel differently once tried on. Happy loving/jucing!

Oooh I didn’t think about how the closure mechanism would wear! I would likely wear the bracelet a couple times a week, so an easy on-off would be really important to me.

Personally I think the small juc looks great alone. It’s so lightweight and comfortable too

I agree - the pictures posted make it look really pretty and now I want one lol.

I’m glad the JUC is getting so much love because that was where I was leaning anyway tbh!

I think both points you made against the sm love are strong - the visual interest, and the need for a tool. I was leaning more JUC anyway and I think the post has solidified my opinions between the two (though I’ll still try both).

I actually really do love the serpenti, only thing is that I want to get the serpenti watch too (will likely do that before the bracelet) and I don’t want to do something too matchy matchy if I can help it. I’d like to diversify since I’m unlikely to buy too many pieces of branded jewellery.

I guess I won’t know till I see them on me though!!

Update - I had to swing by where the Cartier is in town today evening, so I went in to try on the bracelets (I should’ve taken pics but I forgot).

Unfortunately the small JUC doesn’t suit my wrists :crybaby:I think my hands and wrists are too big for it, it kinda disappears on me. It’s a beautiful bracelet but it looks “flimsy” on me. I could only ever wear it stacked and maybe not even then.

Small love was underwhelming enough to look at that I didn’t even try it on.

But… I did try on the regular JUC… and I think the size looked great  I was also surprised at what a difference there was between the Demi-pave and the plain no diamonds. The Demi-pave looks much more delicate and feminine and I feel like I HAVE to do that one if I do it. It was basically the only one that really captured my heart, which is unfortunate because I still think the price is exorbitant.

So I’ll have to really think about it, and also save up for a while for that one, because luckily I didn’t leave my heart behind at the store or anything, and there’s a few projects that have to come first. But if I do do it I think it has to be the regular Demi-pave JUC, which is nearly THREE TIMES the small with diamonds one! Why do I have such expensive tastes :panic:

Edit - I mistakenly wrote “small pave” earlier, but I meant the small one with the few diamonds around the head and tail.

When you say “Demi-pave” are you referring to the regular JUC with one row of diamonds around the nail head, and diamonds around all sides of the point?

Yes - that’s what I thought it was called! But now I’m googling it and I conflated Bulgari’s serpenti with a few diamonds on the head and tail (which is called Demi pave) and the JUC with diamonds (the few diamonds I mean, not the full pave one). Full pave was not even a consideration

I think people (not you, just in general ;) ) are so used to seeing pieces stacked here.
I personally think all the pieces can stand alone. I do stack mine but it's mainly because DH keeps gifting them and I'm not about to discourage such gifts lol
But truly, I'd happily wear any alone. I started with a small Love with diamonds, then a small Juc with diamonds, so I have worn them alone!

Now, personal proportion and preferences are up to the wearer.

That’s the bracelet I fell head over heels for. I wore it alone for a couple of years and then added a regular love bracelet to the stack. It’s a beauty and still makes my heart go aflutter. But it was a couple of thousand dollars less expensive than it is now.

What a sweet husband! Definitely don’t discourage such wonderful traits lmao.

Yeah I think the small JUC on its own would look good on someone with small wrists, I just didn’t like it on myself!

And likely a couple thousand dollars less today than it will be by the time I get around to it 🙈
