I scrimp on SLG's (especially now, new found thing...the smell of leather can trigger headaches for me). I have a few Coach wristlets, but that's it. I used to have more expensive pieces and wallets and things but I have since sold them all.

I actually just got a new wallet last week, no leather whatsoever, and it's actually perfect for me. Just the right amount of space, lightweight, colorful.

I spend quite a bit of money on SLGs but only because most have been purchased on a whim and usually while shopping for something else. I just cannot help it. Think this is why my SLGs have a tendency to be more trendy and in a wider brand variety than my bags. For instance, I would never invest in a neon pink bag. But a neon pink wallet, absolutely.

I LOVE slg's!!! I have a Dior Ultimate wallet in black patent leather, an Aspinal of London (one of my favourite brands for slg's) flat cosmetic case in blue patent leather with the English flag, a LV Groom round coin purse that I use for my medicents and a Mulberry Melanie pencil case in pink patent leather that I use for uni. I have less expensive stuff from Accessorize too but I don't use them as much (except for a "J'aime Paris" iPod case) in the near future I would love a Mulberry pouch and a nice card holder.

if wallets are slgs then yes i splurge on wallets.

but i don't spend on pouches, usually use the ones that the airlines give me or my trusty carita suede pouches that came free with my skincare purchases.

i only splurged on a calvi card case from hermes.

I've scrimped AND splurged, but have found that I like the midway best. Boring! :D I really love quirky, cute wallets and so on - they have to be good quality but other than that, anything goes. I also really love using vintage beaded evening bags as makeup bags and purses too. I carry black bags, so like to play around with colours and textures when it comes to the stuff I put in them - plus I can justify buying a £20 wallet to cheer up a weekday when I can't justify blowing £500 on a new bag! I have a purple leather mini Filofax which I love, too. Has all my secrets in it!

i think when i first started buyn them it was like one after another then i start noticing i wasn't really using them and started giving the away, so i dont really spurge anymore, i buy as i need..

I like SLGs because you can transfer them from one bag to another. But I do not collect, just buy what I need. And I love LV small goods, they wear like iron. So far I only have a coin purse and a small wallet. Would love two cosmetic cases (big and small), passport holder and a receipts holder (improvised :-). Then I'll be done :D

I'm so frugal when it comes to these, I have some wallets that my mum gave me and a coin purse I bought for not even $20 on etsy. I don't think I've ever gone out to the store and bought a wallet. Briefly I debated getting either a Burberry or a MBMJ wallet but the ones I have now are fine.

I'm really not a wallet person, it's funny because I love bags so much but when I see wallets I'm just like "ehhh whatever holds my stuff" lol. The obsession doesn't transfer at all. The wallet I have now is a no name brand basic wallet that I asked my mom for if she had an extra lying around. Sometimes I get lazy too and I just keep all my cards and money etc in the little interior zipper pockets of bags :shame: Now sunglasses on the other hand, that is an accessory that I have a little problem with :angel::p
