You should be able to find them in any good jewelry store. It seems to be the style now. I also saw one in yellow sapphire (I think I have the stone correct) and it was stunning. The diamond ones are beautiful to stack with other bracelets.

Yes, they do seem to be popular now. I'm trying to find top quality stones for a bargain price :roflmfao:

I know what you mean. I like an odd number. I have a trio of platinum bangles (plain) that I have had for years. I find one too skimpy and two somehow not right. Three is perfect.

Exactly! And thanks for the BG suggestion. I received a quote from them already, going to continue to shop around a bit (see if I can find a better price) but it's thousands less per bracelet than Tiffany's and of similar quality.

Three works... & they are wonderful to keep adding..

Many Europeans think the magic number is 13!!

;)

Not to bore anyone, but an interesting story about diamond bangles.
About 20 years ago I was lucky enough to have the gorgeous (and I mean GORGEOUS) Lena Horne as a passenger on one of my flights. She was wearing a variety of at least 30 diamond bangles on her arm...actually went almost half-way up her arm! I was so mesmerized by her beauty and grace I didn't notice the bangles at first. BUT when I finally noticed...just WOW!!! She had a story about each bangle. I was in Heaven!!!
Ms. Horne could really pull off this look, it just seemed so perfect on her!
I'd have to say she started me on my bangle fascination..............................:graucho:

What a fabulous story. And, you're right, what an insanely gorgeous and graceful woman she was.

Over 38 years I've had almost all of the "big-name" celebraties on my flights...the good, the bad and the UGLY! Dated a few, too ;)
I always thought Lena Horne should have written a book on beauty. The best bone structure on a human being! She was as classy as she was beautiful...which is rare.

OK...let's find LTL a gorgeous diamond bangle!!!

Bore anyone? Are you kidding? What a great story!

I want more stories!!!

I have been checking online for diamond bangles.
The problem I'm having is the color and clarity of the diamonds. A lot of H/SI2. IMHO...expensive for carat size and stats.
I did find something on www.nirvanatreasures.com under diamond bangles.
A set of 3 (18K YG/WG/RG) 2.15 TCW F-G-H/VS single prongs per diamond (not shared) $10,500. I don't know if you could buy a set in all one color or buy a single. They have a 30 day return policy.
Check it out.

Holy Crap...I would have loved to have seen Ms Horne and her bangles.

Going to check the site now. And agree, the bangles are EVERYWHERE but the quality is not good. I have also asked my local jeweler for recommendations. They sell high end and have the Garavelli version in the store. But the price is around 11K (higher carat weight but far too pricey for a single bangle (at least for me)

Can you ask your jeweler to make them?
Figure out diamond style (prong, shared prong, channel) color (F-G) clarity (VS1-2) 14/18K gold. If you like the style of the Gavavelli have him make something similar in the 1.60-2 tcw range.
Also, if you can swing buying 3 bracelets at the same time you should get a better deal. That's what I did when I bought mine...buying 4 at the same time put me in a better position price-wise!
