Ame by any chance did you see or try on any bands without diamonds? I am thinking of doing a stack without diamonds so I don't have to clean them every day since I am a lotion lover
Thank you for the amazing pictures, I agree with the person who said they like the alternating round and frenchcut ban with your set the best- just gorgeous!!!!
I REALLY liked that one, and it was almost narrow enough for my stack as it was. I liked that it was like the best of both worlds.
I did try on an engraved band but I don't have any photos of it because it was WAY too small, I couldn't even get it much past my first knuckle. It was 2mm and really pretty.
I love them all- big surprise , but I adore that ring with your wedding set. You have such a beautiful diamond!!!!!
You probably couldn't tell since it didn't fit or remember with all of the diamonds- but was it comfortable? Also, in your opinion- could you wear 3 2mm bands, or is that going to be incredibly thick? I see they have 2 1.7mm bands, that makes me a little nervous though. Not sure it could hold up to daily wear???
Thanks again for sharing your gorgeous pictures-I look at their website every day lol!!!!! Thanks for answering my million questions to Ame!!!![]()
Ame I wonder if it was the Natalie? I am thinking of doing that with the Lucy. One in yellow gold and one in rose gold. For the 3rd band I want to do the Hazel in natural white gold. If you ever happen to go to the Singlestone website and see those rings, I would really value your opinion. I just don't want any rubbing issues due to the different shapes. What is your opinion on the 3 different colors of gold? I am not trying to have it look like a Cartier ringIt was domed a bit but didn't seem at all uncomfortable to me. I wish it would've fit. lol
Prior to this setting, I wore 3 bands that were just over 2mm (2.1-2.2 easily) and it was plenty comfortable. I have long fingers so for me, no big deal at all. I could have fit another ring on just fine. This setting is narrower, so I keep my bands equally narrow. I wear my ering, that is about 2mm max, my spacer which is 1.5 max, and my Kwiat that is 1.9max. If I wear the Tiffany instead of the Kwiat that is 2.2 (they call that 2mm but it is 2.2). I've put my Tiffany on this current stack before, and had all four, though I don't care for the look, and that was fine widthwise. I just don't like how that looks with the other diamond band. Before I got the spacer and the Kwiat, I wore this setting with a 2mm plat band and the Tiffany. No issues with comfort, I just didn't like how it looked.
I don't think those shapes are all that different. They're straight bands, really. They shouldn't be an issue. The varied golds might wear differently over time with whatever alloys are in them, that would be more of an issue than anything. The benefit of having multiple bands is really that you can change up the look with your engagement ring on the day. AND if you can wear them on both hands (not many can) you could wear the others on your right hand when you don't have them on your left.Ame I wonder if it was the Natalie? It sounds like you have many beautiful rings to choose from. How fun to play around with them. I agree, no matter how gorgeous the rings are, to be worn together they have to flow or it just doesn't work. That's my concern here!!!
Thank you again for the pictures and all of the advice. I know you have a lot of jewelry experience and am grateful for you help!!!!
I think that would be pretty! The variation in size would be neat, I think. If you got a 1.7 in one design and a 2mm in two different ones that also would be neat. The three different styles. So glad you don't think there will be an issue. The one that concerned me was the Lucy, but I love it, of course! I will be wearing these on my right hand only. My wedding set is platinum so I wouldn't mix the gold with that. When I am not wearing my set, which is often, I wear an 18kt plain yellow gold band from Tiffanys- I just love the simplicity and that it is classic and timeless.
They don't make the Hazel in 1.7mm in the unplated white gold, so since I really want that color, how would you feel about 2mm unplated white gold Hazel, 1.7 yellow gold Hazel, and 2mm rose gold Lucy. Color wise my biggest concern would be the rose gold.
Sorry to keep bothering you- but this has been driving me nuts trying to figure it out be myself and my friends and DH wouldn't understand- thank you!!!!
Ame I think they might have the 1.7mm Hazel in platinum![]()
