Since 1854/Jacquard collection, how is it?

I’ve only used mine a few times but I have had no issues. It seems pretty durable to me.
Saw a sneak peek today at my store. Releases in US this Friday (1/8). Interior is an exact color match to pre-tanned vachetta. Not really a fan of blue 1854 in person.
I actually saw the print in store today and agree that the blue 1854 is not a great blue shade! I ended buying the Speedy 25B in Bordeaux. It has the cognac colored leather strap and handles. Very happy with the purchase! Thanks for your help!
I got the same bag the other day! Is the strap too long on yours btw? I really want to get the bordeaux bandouliere too, but I live in the US and it's not sold here
I am short, so it is a bit long on me, but it is fine crossbody. I usually use my Speedys handheld, using the strap only when I need it.
Hmm I'm short too, and I don't like how low the bag hangs on me (past my butt). My SA and I measured the strap length, and mine is about a foot longer than the regular speedy b strap length. The description says it's supposed to be the same length as other speedys though.
Curious to know if the two in my store were mistakes, or if they really made them with overly long straps.
It was really long on me, too. I bought this beautiful bordeaux Speedy when it was first released and returned it because when I carried it by the handles, the long strap was dragging on the floor. So sad - I really love this Speedy.
This collection hit my weak spot. I kid you not when I say, "I want everything." I originally returned the speedy too because of the long strap, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. I have the gray 1854 bandouliere, and the drop length works for me.
If you or someone you know, has a dauphine mini or pm in caramel, the drop length is perfect. An 1854 mini dauphine would be ideal though. Caramel Soufflot mm's strap length also works. If you have any of those bags + colors, perfect. If someone else you know has the combo you want, they could request it as an extra strap that you would just pay for.
I'm considering to call LV though and see if anyone there can find out where the discrepancy is -is the description wrong, or the actual dimensions? If it turns out no one knows, or LV doesn't want to offer a remedy, I might just add extra holes. I don't plan to ever get the strap serviced by LV, so I don't really have that much to lose on it.
If you couldn't tell, I really want to make this bag work for me lol This is really the only speedy that I've ever wanted.
I believe it's only available with the petite malle. It doesn't hurt to contact your SA or call LV to check though.
My SA hasn't told me anything about that color, but I'll let you know if I hear anything. She knows I love this collection, so she's been updating me.
I really like the new blue too! I only want to collect one or the other and wanted to see this pattern first to decide. My concern is it seems fall/winter looking and we are coming into Spring. Maybe they won’t release it until fall if 2021?
