I asked when I was shopping for a Rolex about dial changes and both ADs I asked flat out said No. That to do that you would need go aftermarket and Rolex wouldn't service the watch if you do. I was really confused by this because the first time I was inquiring about getting a DJ (6-7 years ago) I was told you can later change the dial, bracelet, and bezel. They must have changed their policy. But I have read about people doing it if it is an upgrade.
I got mine several years ago and they were doing it then but maybe changed their policy. I get mine serviced by a local authorized watch repair guy who was highly recommended on the rolex forum. I think once the watch is out of warranty I'd be ok letting someone like him do a dial change. but I don't know if he'd have a dial to sell and I'd want to be careful who I bought one from. people who commented on having had their dials changed complained that rolex kept their old dials.

While the green is pretty, I don't consider it a neutral at all. I have no clothing with that color and I don't think it would go with any of my clothes other than maybe black. I think silver, gray, black, and perhaps the pink are what I'd consider neutral.
