Stinam and Wickedassin, I hope you will think that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But after reading your threads/seeing your pics today of the Jimmy Choo Ramona and Riki in bordeaux patent leather (http://forum.purseblog.com/handbags-and-purses/patent-bordeaux-ramona-33411.html and http://forum.purseblog.com/handbags-and-purses/introducing-my-new-edition-35507.html), I bolted to my local Choo boutique after work and bought myself a Ramona!!! Total impulse. (I didn't even think I liked patent leather.) But its gorgeous!

Ladies, I'm telling you, if you *need* one of these, run, don't walk! They are flying off the shelves.

It's hard to do this Ramona justice in pics, because the patent is so shiny and the bag looks dark in some light, but here goes...

Cosmopolitan, CONGRATULATIONS!! You know my opinion on this one already -- It's a STUNNING bag!!

So, I really was hoping that if I told myself enough times I really didn't need the bordeaux patent, then I would eventually begin to believe it myself ... That is, until both you and Wickedassin posted pictures of your absolutely amazing new ramona and riki. So, I give up and will be joining the club shortly. ;)

^^^So have you decided on getting the Ramona, Stinam? I looked at Riki too, but I liked Ramona better. Didn't seem too big at all. Has more of a high-impact, rock-star glam appeal.

^^^ I think I may go for the Ramona!! I didn't think it was too big when I saw it last week for a second time. I also already have an anthracite paddy, and I'm thinking that the Riki might be too similar in size (even though it is a different bag and color).

^^^Yeah, I would agree that the size of the Riki would be roughly similar to a Paddington.

After I just bought an Oversize Muse, nothing seems "too big" to me! And big bags are "in" this fall.

Hey SuLi, yes I got it at the new Jimmy Choo boutique at "The Collection at Chevy Chase" in Maryland...I believe they got four of the Bordeaux Patent Ramonas in a few days ago, and two were spoken for by the time I left yesterday!

Alright, I shouldn't torment myself this way, but I see on the Jimmy Choo web site that this fabulous pair of heels is available in Bordeaux Patent to match the Ramona!!!!

Cosmo, You have great taste -- those are some hot shoes!! I have them in black, and I was surprised at how comfortable they were for a 4" heel. The ankle strap is also removable if you want to change the look of the shoe. You can't go wrong with them, and I would definitely recommend taking a look IRL at them. Along with the bordeaux patent ramona, the bordeaux patent pump version of those shoes is also on my list for fall/winter.

I love the Riki! I don't think it's too small actually--I'm a large bag person so I was surprised that it was "perfect." I think the Riki in patent may be slightly larger than the regular Riki in leather. I saw a Ramona in regular leather and it looked as though it'd be a little too "much" for the patent but the pics look great!

I agree that EVERYONE should go check this bag out. It's so very hot!
