I am a size 10/12 and don't find mine to be tight or uncomfortable. I did size up a whole size from my regular us size for length and they are perfect. Hope you find a pair you love!!!

Greetings sanamary! I am totally in love with rockstuds and have a pretty large collection. Of these, I have only a few flats (I'm into heels mostly). I'm quite slender, but regardless of weight, the RS flats (ballerinas particularly) are known to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes ever!! I would far rather wear 120 heels than these flats comfort-wise! :graucho: I can't comment on kitten heels as I refuse to wear them, but I believe they'd be more comfortable than the flats. If you really NEED RS, which I understand, I'd get advice from those who know the kitten heels and are a bit heavier who can give you their views, but you might be surprised in that the actual heels are incredibly comfortable (although I'm biased about this). If you're just looking for designer flats, you might like to jump onto the Louboutin thread and look at some options there as personally their flats are far more comfortable while still being gorgeous! :smile1: Hope this helps and let us know what you choose!

It's absolutely my pleasure sanamary! Oh, trust me, CL 120 non-platforms are NOT comfortable shoes (yet I adore them)!! I can now comfortably do 130s, but this took time and practice - I didn't go from bare feet to these! It took time to build up to this.

If you've never worn heels, you can't expect to go from zero to 6" overnight. And based on what you've said, it doesn't make sense for your lifestyle to be wearing shoes like that anyway (thought it's always nice to be able to wear at least a low heel for a special event - IMO).

This is 100% my personal opinion, but I'm of the view that if you're going to do shoes - do a pure heel or do a pure flat. I know there are thousands of fans of the kitten heel, and I respect their style, but it's just not me. I think you'd be surprised in that a 100 RS heel with all the straps for support are actually a super comfortable heel. I can wear these for a 12hr day and even run in these without any concern. The other option is some of the cute heels with a wider base so you have more support. However, do whatever feels right for you.

As for flats, yeah, I was really amazed about the RS ballerinas believing of course that flats of course had to be comfortable, but if you search or scroll back you'll read about the pain associated with these! I initially got a pair because I needed fuchsia patent heels and couldn't find them anywhere, but came across this shade in flats, so compromised. They hurt - MUCH more than any heels! Once they're broken in they're better, but still...I find the caged flats a bit more comfortable, perhaps since you can go larger since the straps hold them on your feet. (I've attached pics of gold ones for you.)

Again, the Loubi flats were just a bit of a surprise - having loved the heeled version of these, a great deal came along so I thought I'd try them and they are super comfortable. Very versatile too.

Something else you might like to consider if you want to stick designer, and RS particularly, are the RS strappy sandals and the gladiator options. There are the gorgeous Aphrodite gladiators (pics attached), then also cute sandals that have gold embellishments like seashells, starfish, seahorses, etc. These are super cute, stylish, and comfortable! :D

I've attached lots of images, including a wider heel option, to give you a bit of an idea. Feel free to PM me if you want more ideas of specific product info.

Can't wait to see what you decide!

Just to take the other point of view, I adore all my kitten heels, and prefer them to both the cage flats and the 100s. I have an extensive collection of all of them, but the kittens are my go to shoes. They are insanely comfortable and I can wear them for hours at a time. You should try them all out if you can, and see which suit you best. Only you can be sure what is best for you!!

+ 1. Couldn't agree more.

One of my favourite pairs - leopard print calf hair RS heels  - which I've worn with Current/Elliott distressed BF jeans, Saba sleeveless animal print silk shirt with cream collar, and Karen Millen black leather jacket.
