Does everyone prefer patent or leather for their higher heeled RS?

Patent all the way!! I believe it gives the shoe a more polished look and brings out the hue of the colour more, plus is less easy to stain. For 'must have' pairs, I have gone kid leather. I also adore printed calf hair, although it requires a bit more maintenance. At the end of the day, like so many things, it comes down to personal preference.
