How can you tell if a Michael Kors bag you have is Michael Kors collection, Michael Kors, or Michael Michael Kors? I have some vintage MK‘s and current ones that I’ve bought at the full price store. And I’m not sure what’s the differences or how to tell the difference on preowned bags. Thank you to anyone that can help.

I'm sure others know more but what I look at it the label....it will either say Michael by Michael Kors or just Michael Kors. My collection bag has a Michael Kors metal tag inside and Michael Kors logo on the hardware.

I've been on such a shoulder/hobo bag hype since they're having a moment again!Hi there. I happen to walk by a Michael Kors Boutique that carries the Michael Kors collection line. What drew me into the store was a tote with the python print that was on display. To my surprise, Michael Kors has high end bags which I never was aware of. I did not purchase the tote, however I did purchase a crossbody sling type bag in the same python print. It was on sale so I could not resist! Does anyone have experience with the Michael Kors Collection line and if so, what are your thoughts about the quality and how well do they do their hand stitch bags? Any feedback is appreciated. The python print is pretty detailed. Not only is it embossed python, but they even place cuts in the emboss so it actually has "scales: that are raised and you can actually feel them and some are even lifted...like real snake skin scales. I hope it wears well as it is a crossbody so I wonder if the "scales" will start to look ratty over time. I will be careful with it but so far I think it's pretty goregous and with the sale, it's icing on the CAKE!

I can imagine how soft it is. Do you use the bag often? The one I just purchased is $1,150 retail but Michael Kors has it on sale for $690. Do you think at retail they are worth it? I guess it is to each their own as I never thought I would pay over $1k for a Tory Burch bag but I did exactly that as the Lee Radziwill bag just stole my heart. Lol. I can tell this Michael Kors bag will be a keeper for me. I have nothing like this one! Thank you for your input! I've used the bag quite a bit. It think it's the softest leather of any bag I have and it's not delicate (esp being black).
As far as worth it? I got mine at a consignment store so paid much less than the $690 but your price is still half of retail and if you love it....
Yes I do love it! Wow just think for those that paid retail....YIKES! I'm glad I didn't do THAT! I would be sick seeing it drop so low knowing if I just waited it would be so much cheaper! I'll be using it today! Yay! Excited! Lol

We'll today was great. We zipped around town. No one said anything about her beauty! Hahaha! If anyone thought she was gorgeous, they plead the 5th! Lol. I'm so happy I was able to purchase this bag. My very 1st Michael Kors Collection beauty!
I'm flying to ND in January for a little family visit. This bag was so comfy with easy access to the bag, I am thinking of taking her on my trip. The only issue with that is my daughter may want it, so maybe it's best that i keep the bag at a low profile, for now. Lol
