Yes it was my first. Could be lighting though as it's not noticeably shinier in real life but it does have more signs of wear.

I had read what you said in another thread, so hoping....but it's been a week. Would they just ship it in a month or two when they get more? Weird.

Love that you have a black bucket in every size - all occasions are covered! Do you find you use them all equally? I'm thinking about black cross body bags in both regular and mini ..... I really like the Moss in the mini cross body style too but wonder if it would be too similar to the black also being a dark colour.

I only got the mini yesterday so it's first outing was last night. I can see me using that a bit especially on weekends when I don't have heaps to carry. The mini mini still has tags on and will possibly be sent back. I imagine I'd use that going out for dinner but I don't know how often as I have so many clutches and small bags. I have until Wednesday to decide so it's not been used at all yet.

I just returned my mini mini as it didn't close securely enough when I put things in it. I love the softness of the calf bucket bag but i could only find it in a rosa which I was worried would stain easily, so I returned it. I am wondering if the veg tan will soften at all as it stands away from my body a bit.

It seems to close fine for me, I find it actually easier to do up than my regular bucket because the ties are much longer. I also have the iPhone 6 plus which isn't exactly small and it can lay down sideways along with my sunglasses in hard case, wallet, coin purse and keys which are all I need when going out to dinner/lunch. I should take a pic of how much I fit in there compared to its size for anyone interested and unsure of buying.

As far as veg tan softening my oldest one still hasn't and I hope it doesn't, I love it for its structure so I will be disappointed if it becomes soft and slouchy. The calf seems quite structured to but I'm sure will soften more. I'm undecided on that yet.

Finally, after months of stalking stockists, checking my e-mail obsessively, and drooling enviously over all the lovely MGs here on tPF, I scored - and today she arrived, miss mini bucket in black/flamma. Happy girl happy bag indeed!

I actually got it very fast, it was one of the smaller European retailers (I'm in the EU) that mailed me a list of what they were getting in stock, thus a rather late re-stock. I was so happy that I managed to get this bag as I'm sure a lot of their clients got that mail, and it was the only one in this size and colour. So I got the mail, ordered, and then a few days later when they received the bags they sent it to me. I just got lucky this time! (Well, I have put in a lot of time mailing, checking websites, getting updates...never worked this hard for a bag before, and my husband considers me quite mad)
Also managed to get a mini bucket black/ballerina for a friend along the way, thus most probably increasing the MG quota in our small town with 200% :ghi5:

Hope yours comes sooner rather than later!
