Hi! Have not been here for a while. I was craving a little color for summer, as most of my bag collection is dark or neutral. Found this at flea market for $20. Coach Ashley Hippie Bag, 2012, made for factory. The leather is pleasantly substantial, since my comparison is very substantial vintage. The is a small light stain toward the bottom, which I conveniently camouflaged with the position of the strap lol. I really prefer the back, with the framed zipper detail. It fulfilled my urge for something bright to rotate in for summer. While I wait for a few HG vintage Coach in bright colors to come along!
So excited to share this, my Lanvin Happy!! It cost me $380 including tax and shipping, so not really the cheapest bag ever, BUT with the help of a very lovely TPFer I found out that it's real snakeskin, even though TheRealReal labeled it as embossed. Then I Googled it and found the original listing (here) for my bag on Neiman Marcus! So I'm super excited about this deal, and it's my first ever exotic handbag!! The quality is also out of this world - the hardware, the incredibly soft calfskin interior leather flap…
I also got this bag because just for me personally, I'm kind of against Chanel but love the classic look of the reissue. I thought this would be a great alternative and more my style! I'm super satisfied and don't think I'll ever be tempted to buy a Chanel now. I don't have a pretty pic of the bag but here's a modshot taken while trying on winter coats on sale

Even though most of them retail for much more than what I paid, my collection is made up of almost all sub-$200 bags.

I had that bag and LOVED it. The leather and color were beautiful. It was too big for me so I never reached for it. I gave it to my cousin who has a 6 month old baby. She loves it as she can also fit a few baby things in in when she’s running quick errands. As much as I loved that bag, I’m happy to see someone else getting use out of it rather sitting in my closet collecting dust. That bag needs to be used and seen!
My knockoff of the Classic Flap jumbo sized by Carla Ferreri...just over NZ$100...gives me the feel of a classic without the cost.
I really want one of these bags. There is a girl on YouTube who has a bunch in every color, I think they're really beautiful.
