I only have one Plume in size 32 and I always look at the other sizes and wonder if I need more….
A 28 is a very nice size (too). In addition, I wouldn't mind an Elan in a special leather/exotic or strong colour for the evening
Thank you 🙏 for your very kind comment. I have used it for plane travel - it just goes under the seat. However nowadays they are so brutal with luggage, not sure I will any more. It mostly comes with me on train journeys within the U.K. and on Eurostar. I can fit all essentials, plus cardigan, brolly etc

I have 2 noob questions for Plume lovers (promised I have used the search function!)
1) how hard is it to be offered a plume (not mini size) in box leather these days in the US?
2) is the price of the croc plume 73000 euros? I saw a pic a couple pages back. But also saw it’s “only” $30k on TRR (brand new 2024). Does it really lose half its value on the resale market?

1) I’ve been waiting for a box plume 28 or 32 for 4 or 5 years. They are rare and you have to hope no one else at your store is in competition for one.
2) I have no idea where you are getting your estimate of 73k euros for a croc plume, no size specified. If you look at the price list thread, an alligator B30 is currently US $58,800. I seriously doubt that an exotic plume would be more than an exotic b30. Of course croc is more expensive than alligator but not 40-50% more.

Alligator mini chain plume is US $30,500 so I think maybe the bag Bdbunny saw was 30,000 Euros? Not totally sure since the price tag is a bit blurred in her pic.

We may not have to wait much longer for plumes. The h website has a whole new info section on plumes and they even showed a photo of the new mini plume II. I imagine it’s making a comeback.
I wonder which leathers will be used for the new crop of plumes. Really hoping to see some box, Barenia, and Volynka plumes.
