Thanks for the mod shots, you look fabulous Jyyanks! I was very curious as to how you see yourself using the 32? For work? As an everyday purse?

JY - you look fantastic with your plume! Just wondering if you can get the 32 over your shoulder? I'm 5'2 ft so your mod pic is so helpful. Wondering whether you considered a smaller size in your hunt and if you did, why did you opt for the 32. Thanks!

Hello! Figured I'd answer both of you at once! I chose the 32 because I mostly use my bags to commute to work and and need a roomy bag for my day to day lifestyle. I have smaller bags and they never seem to work for me. For instance, I had a 31 bolide but used my 37 more so the 31 was ultimately sold. I like bags with no fuss - which is why a bolide, a toolbox and now, a plume work. While there is room in my life for a Kelly, it's not for daily use at this time. Perhaps, if I wasn't a commuter, the 28 would work. In fact, when I saw ForeverInPink's plume, the size was actually better for my height. However, I opted for the bigger size in case I want to slip a kindle or a bottle of water in my bag.

I also was looking for a casual bag. I was originally looking at a black box plume in a 28 but wanted something more casual for everyday wear. I was thrilled when I found this one. I thought it was clemence, even better that it's fjord.

I also need a bag for for traveling. This seems to fit the bill. I wouldn't feel comfortable traveling with a Birkin (too noticeable, too heavy, no zipper) or a Kelly (too fussy, too small, too noticeable) but the under-the-radar plume with zipper can work. I may take it with me on my trip to Europe this summer and change between this and the evelyne.

I actually CAN fit the plume on my shoulders. It can be worn on the shoulders if you need your hands free but it's not that comfortable. Perhaps if I tried it without a jacket it would be better.

If you do a search on 28 vs 32 plumes, there are so many varying opinions. I always tend to go big but I can see myself downsizing in the future when kids and commuting are no longer in the picture!

Jyyanks - thanks for your insight. I think you chose well given your point about needing something for commuting and for travelling. It may be that I can do with a smaller plume. Wish my store had one that I could try IRL. If I do get one, I will go the reseller route.

I think a 28 (kept saying 27 but it's really a 28) would actually work better on petite ladies. In comparing the two, a 27 is big enough and not overwhelming. If I wasn't using for commuting and traveling, I would have chosen the smaller size.

Thanks for responding to my question! I've been wondering about the 32 as a workbag, it looks like it could be used as a briefcase and fit a small laptop, files, etc. Congrats again on your score, it's wonderful and I can't wait to see it sometime IRL!!!
