I lived in the west vill. too for a while. Now I just visit (from Battery Park City..lol).
Thx. I have a deep, 30 year root in the WV AND it's easy to remember it amid all the screen name possibilities. I used to invent 'me and forget 'em. Lol... I sometimes think BPC is like a trip to the country, it's so peaceful there. Nice to meet so many bag lovers here.
I'm the opposite, I feel like I have too many black bags & am looking to downsize!
I've been in purge mode since I recently got married / combining households & noticing maybe too many black purses....
1. LV Mahina XS, can be worn shoulder or crossbody
2. Prada nylon messenger
3. Prada nylon pochette
4. Vintage Coach leather crossbody
5. Vera Bradley shoulder bag, black with owl print
Since I have about 20 purses, I'm feeling like 25% black in the wardrobe is a bit much! Plus giving away a purse would make a little room to acquire something new. Perhaps something in LV Damier Azur...

I use the Prada pochette least but it's also a sentimental value purse since it was a gift from my mother. And eventually if I have a daughter/grand daughter it would be cute to pass it down for prom/formals. I'm thinking that I might give the Coach away to my little sister (she lives for vintage Coach) bc I have a green leather Coach crossbody roughly the same size that I use more regularly. And I'd keep the VB even though it's not as fancy as the others bc it's great for rainy days or events with potential to be messy like concerts & sporting events

I love black bags too! My MK Hamilton NS tote is black, and a Anysis black fur shoulder tote. Looking to buy more black bags next year.
