Should I trade in my e-ring?

Thanks for all your suggestion ladies. I have confirmed with the local tiffany's store manager and yes our Singapore boutiques don't do upgrades. I'm not really attached to things and my DH has agreed to trade in the original e-ring if other jewelers can give us a good price for it. I'll go around to find out which jeweler can offer me the best. If not, I'll just get another piece of jewelry for our anniversary.

I am shocked. I always thought Tiffany would do an E-ring upgrade regardless of where you bought your ring. Good luck with your eventual decision and do please post your new piece!

It seems that the upgrade policy in states is different compared to the Tiffany stores in Asia countries? At least, in Singapore and Malaysia. I've asked a Tiffany store in KL and was told that the upgrade policy is only applicable for rings with 1-carat diamond and above.

It doesnt have to be tiffany...if its the same quality and even better, why not? I remember i was out with a cousin in a popular retail store. He told me im basically just buying the name. So i asked him, what if i just take out the name tag, would they give me a huge discount? Lol
