It’s beautiful but don’t settle, I always find that with H settling rarely ever works.

It is not what you really want; you stated you might be selling other bags to fund the purchase.
Your wording shows that your potential interest in it is more influenced by its rarity.
Although you expressed an interest in the Kelly Pochette as a style, this skin does not seem to have been on your radar.
Your SA clearly wishes to offer you something special; wait until he or she can offer you something that you would really like to have.
It would stress me out to buy an H bag knowing that I should sell one or two Chanels in the future to defray some of the cost. I really believe that if you decide you must have a VR croc KP in the future, this offer, or something even better, will come around again.

Sometimes, little surprises we never planned for steal our hearts. If this bag makes your heart skip a beat and you can swing the added cost of it, I say go for it! Though it is not what you originally asked for, that is sometimes the beauty of H.... Fabulous pieces come your way that simply seduce you and earn a place in your heart and possibly your closet! I would not buy an exotic KP. I’m nervous enough using my swift KP. It’s a bag that lends itself nicely to nights out/cocktail/restaurant events but the bag doesn’t have feet, nor a strap, so I find myself constantly making sure no surfaces have any moisture on them and that my hands don’t have condensation on them from my drink etc. Cute for photos but impractical for use, imo.
Will you be sad if you get an offer that you wanted? Will you be able to buy that too? Will you be afraid to use it? It’s no doubt a beautiful bag and that alone can blindside us. I’d be more concerned about blowing my original budget (by thousands(!!)) than it not being an item on my wl.

I couldn’t agree more. Also, I carry KPs for day and that means I am constantly grabbing the bag by its body. I would ruin this bag in a hot minute.
Ok this is something important to consider. I also have a KP and yes I am also always paying attention ..

I didn't take up the offer of.the most beautiful Alligator Plume 32 in 2014 and have thought about so often since. I actually had the money then, I just din't want to be greedy and though a 'normal' leather bag was outrageous enough.
Now I have stunning Chocolate Box 28 and fabulously special Bambou Swift Plume 32 and I'm not sorry about either, but it was definitely the 'one that got away' and I'm annoyed with myself because I really would have enjoyed using it.
