Should I Sell My x?

I bought a Neverfull GM in DE in 2019 and used it daily. However, since the pandemic, I no longer feel safe carrying an open tote (Center City Philadelphia living!) and have switched to a Goyard Artois MM or Longchamp totes. Another fun element is that our sweet cat pees in any bags that aren’t zipped shut, so if I did use it I would have to lock it up when at home. It’s in pristine condition except for some marks on the interior. Should I sell it since I haven’t used it in over a year and don’t expect to do so? It’s the perfect bag except for the lack of a closure, but I hate to see it just sitting in its dust bag and it has 2 strikes against it. Picture of said sweet cat for visual interest:smile: Thanks, folks!
I kept two GM right now, it’s always good to have GM around, there is hardly any other bag can take over GM when you need it.

Keep the wallet in its zipped pocket, it’s large enough to hold large wallet

Sell the Saleya, keep the neverfull, such an easy to use bag, besides the market is down, likely you would lose money selling it now, doesn’t hurt to keep
I can’t sell the Saleya because of the memory attached to it. We were on a cruise and there was a what goes around comes around boutique on board. I fell in love with the Saleya in DA, and I visited that bag the first 5 nights of the 14 day cruise. On night 5 my husband went downstairs, bought the bag, and brought it up to me as a surprise. I bawled like a baby!!!!

Funny, I haven’t felt in love with any bags for a long time, liked them, maybe excited but wouldn’t think about one all the time😸

knowing WGCA & cruise, that bag probably cost $1,500?

$1726 with a 15% discount because of ship status. She’s a 2007, made in France and looks brand new…. The SA said she was used once or twice on a runway model then stored…. Not sure how true that is though! Just got her this past September. My first DA at the time!

I would keep it. The neverfull is such a useful bag for travel or when you have to carry something bulky. With all the PI I honestly think twice before selling anything, because it is just too expensive to buy again later if you regret the sale.

I bought the Escale neverfull & then the pandemic hit. It’s still in the box. I started using a crossbody & probably will never go back to a shoulder style. I just don’t know what’s stopping me from selling my Neverfull 😢

I have a Damier Ebene MM Neverfull that I purchased in November 2022. I don’t use it as a daily work bag because of the thin straps. I find it more suitable for travel and I’ve used it a hand full of times for both domestic and international travel. I also feel it is too common to use as an everyday bag. I am wondering if I should keep this or exchange it for a neverfull Monogram Empreinte vs Goyard Artois MM. I would only use the bag for traveling at this point. Thoughts?

The Neverfull DE is the most durable and very easy to wear compare to Goyard's tote & LV Neverfull Empreinte leather. IF you are looking for a tote for standing out, then Goyard's tote maybe a good choice.

I would keep it as it sounds like it works for you as a traveling bag and DE is so durable for all weather conditions. I don’t feel the DE NF is common for every day use. I use my mono all the time and don’t feel it’s common I would keep the DE over empreinte as I had issues with my empreinte items and sold everything.

Your cat is so sweet. If you are going to use it for travelling, then hang on to it. If you want to repurchase it again in the future, LV will have had a price hike by then. If you are certain that you are not going to use it then sell it.

What issues have you had with empreinte? All my LV bags have been epi or canvas but I’m interested in buying a neverfull in empreinte. Just wanted to know others experience with the leather. Thank you!

Maybe the leather has changed but the corners got scuffed easily including my cosmetic pouch . I was frustrated that there were issues with the imprint on empreinte , some came so faded/light imprint already that you could barely see the pattern.
