Should I sell a Chanel to get an LV?

I've never owned anything Chanel. I simply don't care for the brand. You're asking in an LV forum, so of course, Yes, sell it and get the LV !! I'm sure your answers will be quite different if you ask in the Chanel forum...

I think to her could be LV canvas is easier to use without worry. I was in the same boat but decide to keep all my Chanel and still getting LV canvas pieces but not LV 100% leather

I don't know your lifestyle needs or what's already in your collection, but I wouldn't sell that Chanel. It's stunning and timeless, and that's a special bag that's going to add a lot to an outfit.

To me, these are separate questions: 1) Do I want/need a pochette metis? and 2) Do I have a place in my closet for the Chanel? But I wouldn't make one contingent on the other.

I only have 2 Chanel bags b/c they are too dressy for me. I have a WOC I use for dinners out and one brown flap that is more on the causal side, but I still rarely carry it. I prefer Chanel SLGs.

The Pochette Metis is a casual bag. I have 2 of them and carry them all the time. So for me, as pretty as that Chanel is, I'd carry my PM's more. As hard as Chanel's are to come by, or as much as they might cost, it's not my style. Is it yours?

I would not let go of the Chanel just yet. Selling the Chanel and buying the PM should be two separate decisions. There is a possibility that you may not love the PM and then may regret having let go of the iridescent Chanel.
