Should I reset my Tiffany solitaire into an embrace

I agree with a few of the ladies here, a large diamond looks best in a simple solitaire, but an embrace or soleste would suit anything from 0.75 carats to around 2.5 maybe 2.75 even. Of course if you had heavier fingers then maybe you could get away with a 3 carat plus in an embrace otherwise I would just stick with simple refined solitaire

I like it as it is, honestly! But YOU have to. I am concerned you might not like it in the Embrace setting at this size though.

I didn't reset it, I was told by my SA that a stone over 3ct can't be set in an embrace setting. If I really want to reset it into a halo ring, they will set it in one of their 'statement ring' settings, which is a cathedral setting. I was lucky to spot a 3.5ct ring with the exact setting in store just weeks ago, it looked huge. I am still debating whether to reset it or not. Maybe I will do it next year.
