I upgraded my tiffany ring from a 2.3ct to a 3.2ct last year. I like the way the classic setting makes my diamond pops, but I miss the embrace setting everytime I see the ladies here post their embraces. I live in Hong Kong and I see solitaires everywhere...
Should I reset it into an embrace? Please advise.

Wow that is some rock!!! Okay normally I would say go with your true love, the embrace... but I am a bit afraid at that carat size with your finger size it might just be overwhelming, like 100% coverage! I think maybe for the embrace your old stone was the perfect size?

I'm speechless! It's so beautiful already! I love this and millions of women have it bc it is that beautiful. I haven't seen embrace irl so I can't say. Love solitaire, you should have at least one.

Yes, that is exactly what my SA told me! She said the 2.3ct was the perfect size for ME for the embrace setting.

Thank you for your comment. Maybe I should keep it as it is, esp. when I have other rings(sapphire, yellow diamond) in halo setting.

wow! I agree with Jen if you switch your setting to the embrace you will have 100% finger coverage!

I think with your finger size and the carat weight of your beautiful diamond it is best left as a classic, chic solitaire :D

wow, the rock is huge. I think you should keep it as simple as possible because of the size of the rock. Embrace should be ok for 2ct not more, plus your finger is not big enough for 3ct embrace. Just go with the solitaire, it's perfect for you.

Your ring is a dream!! Don't change it!! Could you possibly get an Embrace also? Or perhaps something a bit smaller in a halo? I think your current stone in an Embrace setting will take away from it's beauty. It's a knock out the way it is!

That diamond is gorgeous

The Embrace has always been a favourite of mine, so I personally would. But it's your ring, and you have to think "Will I still love this design in 10 years? 20?" Of course, rings can always be reset. But why go through the hassle if it's not needed? I find the solitaire to be timeless; classic. It can go with you and your husband for many years to come. That being said, the Embrace is a beautiful, unique design to a regular engagement ring (this is why I love it). It's not a ring one sees everyday, so that keeps it very interesting! Whatever you do, just remember that an engagement ring represents the relationship, so the design should make you happy :)

If I were you I would keep it as is being that its so big and you have small fingers.

The halos really don't look as delicate as I personally like them to look when they are 3+ carats, trust me I love halos and own a 2.51 carat double halo by Tiffany's and I had the chance to go bigger but I chose not to as I felt it lost its delicate look by being so big. I also owned a 3ct oval with a halo and I really disliked how bulky it looked. To each his own but in my opinion your solitaire is perfect as is!
