Should I purchase the Alma BB in Epi??

Yes, it is addictive. With my noe BB DA is still on the way, I am already thinking about Alma BB in epi.. considering I already have Alma BB in Monogram. Thought I reached purse peace after Noe BB.....

I am eyeing the pochette Métis although I got the epi NeoNoe last week. Grrr

I just ordered the Poppy last night. This will be my first Epi bag but the leather is quite study and I've read on various subs here that it holds up very well - even in rain. Even more so in black, I don't think you can go wrong with the Epi.

Hopefully someone with actual experience will chime in!

is the Poppy epi a true red or more of a coral colour?

I don't know if the OP got an epi BB or not, but just had to weigh in that my Alma epi PM is by far one of the most durable and carefree leathers I've purchased. I am careful with it, being a luxury handbag, but it remains pristine and it is from 1996!
