i would definitely open it to make sure all the work is as it should be. There should not be any delays if you are unhappy with something. Like it was mentioned, do not wear it until your birthday, just confirm that it is exactly what you wanted.

I agree with what many others have said - open to inspect and make sure its what you want, but then wait to actually wear it until your birthday.... However, there is nothing wrong with taking it out and admiring it a couple of times between now and then....

Total pull result that 46ppl voted to open and 7 ppl wait. Thanks for everyone inputs and commments. I pickup my package this morning and i did open to inspect my item. I am very happy and I am over the moon. I did put it back to the box and will wait till my bday to wear. Don't know if i have the patient to do wait that long now. LOL
