Should I keep this SPECIAL LADY DIOR - Embroidered Toile de Jouy??? PLEASE HELP!

Forgot to add, I just realized I walked into Dior for the first time intending to buy a palm Lady Dior. Instead I bought RTW including a palm skirt. Much later, I bought my first black around the world embroidery lady Dior which I wavered on (mainly bc Dior has so many choices) but I have ended up madly loving it. The deciding factor was I wanted black HW, and that was the only one. The secondary, since I’m not really practical, consideration, was that I’m not really careful with my things, so I thought I should start with a navy or black bag. Of course, everyone’s decision making process is different though. Here’s a pic of the palm skirt and the bag (after some time went by, I got it personalized I can dress it up (the first pic is possibly for an event next month) or wear it with shorts and Birkenstock’s with a leopard print as a neutral (more my lifestyle). A patterned bag can go with nothing or everything, but that’s JMO.

I LOVE it!!! That Palm skirt is sooo gorgeous and the whole look with the top, belt and bag looks super pretty and sophisticated! I love the round the world print and the fact that you can style the bag dressed up or more casually also - you look great in both looks Thank you for posting!

Thank you, and yes you raise a good question! In terms of practicality the size is perfect being the medium and it is a leather bag so I think it should wear well. However, of course it can't be worn with all colours/prints. But that may be ok for me as I tend to be more of a neutrals dresser

It's 2022 now so I don't know if you made a decision regarding this bag or not but wow!! What a stunning bag! You should trust your gut instinct though, and only keep the bags you absolutely love! Otherwise, you might not use it or enjoy it.

As for the pattern it's definitely a very flashy bag so either you have to dress very neutral/basic to match that bag or have a lot of loud prints. I think it suits someone with a lot of charisma, confidence and flamboyance (or at least an Instagram) so if that's not you and you're more chill, you can probably let it go without any regrets. This is definitely the kind of bag that if you're not careful, the bag's gonna wear you!
