I tried on 3k diamond earrings and they looked HUGE in my normal size ears...they didnt look right at all.Every lady in jewlery store other than the SA agreed. At the time I was only wearing 1/2 K in my ears. I ended up getting a certified colorless beautiful pair of 1k. Because of the color they stood out more than a 2 k because the color made them more sparkley:). Then I got a second whole and moved them 1/2 to them. If it would go for earrings just smaller than a 3k and a bag if at all possible. If not just the earrings.

the e ring.

I love diamonds and I would like to look at them on my hand (hence why I always get manis). you can't see your ears. The only people who will get to enjoy them are people looking at you.

wow, what a great dilemma to have :) i personally would go for the e ring upgrade. dh and i have discussed it as well (tho not even close to upgrading now) and even tho it's sentimental, we've both softened over that fact. it's what you would wear the most and look at the most. 3 carat studs would be beautiful but mostly hidden. in terms of diamonds vs bags, my heart leans towards diamonds first even if a birkin is a dream bag! good luck in ur decision!

Upgrade to 3-carat diamond ering. First, this is the only thing that you can wear all the time in all occasions (if you like), and would not need to worry about matching outfits because of color or occasion conflicts. Second, it will last forever or until you upgrade again.

SHop around. When you find your 3-carat gem, take a look at the firey beauty. Both your husband and you may change your hearts.

My vote is for the anniversary band. Earrings can be too easily lost, and a diamond band will give you more bling without weighing your arm down like a Birkin! Or you could get a nice watch...
