should i buy a pre-loved bag?

It really depends on how you are. I do both new and preloved. What I love about preloved bags is that I am not really worried to use them. I mean really USE them without crying over a small scratch or what not. It's also so rewarding when you find a steal of a deal! But buying new also has its perks-the store experience, walking with a brand new bag with all the accessories that a preloved may not, etc. But I do agree with the other posts about having all preloved items authenticated here! I thought I was pretty good at spotting fakes, but a friend recently had me fooled with her fake from the Philippines!

Personally I think you can get some great deals pre loved but because you can get great deals it can be easy to be swayed into a bag you might not have bought full price - if that makes sense!

If you have a bag that's no longer in production that you really liked then pre loved is a good way to go :)

True that!!😊

Those deals can be rather enticing, right?
I think the only exception ever that i might have made would have been for a Trevi. Brand new though😉
(Except that a alot of people seem to think it's rather heavy..?)😔

Exactly, I have two pre loved and I got them because they were discontinued and I really liked them, but I must admit I get sucked into looking at pre loved bags I wouldn't probably have bought new because they're such good deals... 😂

I do not think we can answer that for you as people buy preloved for various reasons. Some like the deals, some want discontinued bags, some it's about finance constraints, some like restoring and the list goes on. Personally I cannot bring myself to buy preloved as I am very particular about my bags. Not to mention the bags that are in good condition are priced so high that I'd rather go into the boutique and get a new one. So really this a personal preference that you have to make.

I was looking online and saw some pre-loved LV bags, should I buy a pre-loved bags?
I need your in puts please. thanks you!:graucho::laugh:

I only buy preloved if it's a discontinued item. If it's available at the boutique, I would rather purchase new. But everyone has different standards or preferences. So if you are interested in an item on the pre-loved market, why not?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying preloved, it's actually quite thrilling!
I must say that I ended up buying my preloved bag in person. I felt much more comfortable handling it and looking at it myself before making a decision. But that said, there are tons of reputable online resellers that have great return/exchange policies. Do search on TPF, there are great suggestions! Good luck :)

At this point I have only purchased pre loved. At first, it was honestly because of financial constraints. Now though, I have the $ to buy a new bag, but going to the LV store has no appeal for me. I walked in to LV and looked at Speedys and empreinte cles, but had no interest in the brand new items. For whatever reason, the store experience does not entice me to purchase like the chase of buying pre loved does.

My LV's I have bought in the new just because I am not at all familiar with LV yet and can't authenticate myself. I trust 2 consignment store which is fashionphile and yoogis but I found fashionphile is sometimes way over price like they sell the key pouch for $195 that comes with nothing, which they sell $200 in the store.

Have you seen their mini pochette evasion? Omg. $595 if I'm not mistaken. I bought mine at louisvuitton.com for $365 no tax bec. I don't have LV store in my state. But I think you can call and purchase them too. But $595 for a $365 they must be dreaming. Now, I wonder if they are doing their research. Idk, they must have their reasons for the overprice.
