Reminds me of my 1st Coach full-size bag--a Poppy Glam khaki/gold tote. I got so many compliments o it! I no longer carry fabric bags because I find them too hard to take care of, but your pic sure brings me back!

Poppy Glam Tote was my first, as well. Got her 3 years ago next month while I worked at Macy's for $35. Don't use her much, anymore, but I will keep her forever!

Here she is, my first Coach bag; the medium Parker Hippie 13420 RIGSN in khaki/sand op art sig with rosegold hardware.

Oh how I loved this bag! I bought her in the spring of 2009 and carried her everyday through the summer and couldn't wait for the next spring so that I could carry her again.

But I haven't worn her in a long time. My tastes have changed and I prefer larger, leather bags. But I do have a few fabric bags and if you are looking for light-weight and versatile - then nothing beats fabric.

She was the perfect choice for my outing today and I am glad that I finally remembered her! Medium-sized, light-weight, cross-body, versatile, and beautiful summer colors, gorgeous!

Here are pics of her on the train this morning, I have decorated her with my Shells fob 92910 SV MC and I think she looks fabulous!

This story brings even more of a tear to my eye than that time David Hasselhoff cried on AGT! 😢 Makes me wish I still had my Op Art Isabelle. Sometimes a fabric bag is just fun!

She is beautiful katev and looks perfectly appropriate!!

+1

That is such a pretty bag and the shell fob really makes it summer-y. I'm glad you remembered her too because now we all get to enjoy the pretty photos! :D

gorgeous bag and the fob accents it so perfectly!

Thanks! I love finding the perfect fob to accent my bags.

I see so many MFF sig fabric bags being carried everywhere (mostly khaki/brown or black/gray) that I have pretty much lost my interest in fabric.

But I have some lovely fabric bags, besides this one I have a zebra print north/south tote and my black/black/sig poppy groovy. They are all great bags that are tough, light-weight and versatile - and I wouldn't want to get rid of any of them!

Thanks! Buying my first Coach was quite an adventure, but I was a fast learner (too fast!) You're right, fabric bags can be a lot of fun!

When the Poppy bags came out I remember thinking that I would never buy one because they were "too young" for me. I am older now and I have 2 of them!

Lovely story, it's like a reunion with an old friend! And also this is why I try not to be too extreme with my purging. If I don't wear it but I still love it, I keep the bag. You just never know when the need will come!

love the hippie style - I have the cousin from the Madison line. The leather on the Parker bags was TDF - and congrats on shopping the closet!

Nice!!! It's always fun to find those "oldies but goodies" in our own closets!

Thank you, I am so pleased to have re-discovered her. I could have moved out of her today but I decided to keep carrying her for awhile!
