Sort of on the same topic, but one of the boxes from my birkins purchased abroad got damaged in transit. Is there a bag at H that has the same box as the 35 cm birkin? Maybe next time my sis has a birthday I cAn buy that bag for her and keep the box?

My friend had the same experience with an empty Rolex box.
She was explaining she bought a box to keep her old watch. They saw she traveled to Geneva resently and later received this box. They asked for the bank statement of the period she was in Geneva. And it showed the transaction.

Since every bag is shipped in its box, it is rare that the boutique will have an extra box for a bag.

What store was this, if you don't mind? I got a bag with a severely damaged bag once and was promised it would be traded with the box when a similar bag came in. But they had no extras (and I believe they'd tell me). I ultimately got a new box.

One bag was from Milan (via Montenapoleone store), another from Istanbul, Turkey (Nisantasi store), and third one was from Vienna.

My last B I got at the FSH but they delivered it to the hotel in a box, I forgot to tell them... Left the box at the hotel... :(
